a bad live performance yes, however they are the #7 top touring artist of the decade according to rolling stone. I am by no means a huge fan but come on.

what I'm saying is, the "better" they would've performed today the WORSE it would've been, cuz it would've intensified/concentrated the terribleness of how bad their music sounds. It's like, let's say you are a normal/not-deserving-to-die person, and thus you hate eggplant. The "better" an eggplant dish is the WORSE you will hate it. Like, if they fuck up the eggplant by doing the recipe all wrong/not how it's supposed to taste (where TASTE is analogous to how dave mathews band music is supposed to SOUND) it'll actually taste LESS BAD to someone who passionately hates the flavor of eggplant, due to tasting less eggplantish due to the person cooking the eggplant fucking it up. Identically, the "better" Dave Mathews Band plays their songs, the WORSE it actually sounds, since it sounds even MORE Davemathewsbandish, which is a BAD THING. Get it?
So, in theory, as horrible as that was, it could've been even WORSE if they had played their songs "perfectly" instead of fucking up or whatever. That's how bad they are.
