    So after going for about 20 minutes, all that shit you say you'd do during a zombie apocalypse, yeaaaaaah, doesn't work too well.

    So I got pretty lucky tonight. After dying twice, I spawn near Solnichniy, and start running south with nothing. After cutting into the hills a bit, I find a deer stand with an AKM, score. I then start following the coast down south of Tulga. That's when I see someone tweaked out in the middle of a field near the railroad tracks that run along the island.

    I decide against shooting him, since its pretty clear that he's bugged / lagged, and I didn't want to give away my position. Why not loot him though? He had his sidearm out, so I managed to get a sweet haul:

    Mk 48 Mod 0 (oh hi dere bandits):

    4x 7.62x51mm 100 round belts
    Night vision goggles(!)
    Laser Rangefinder
    GPS
    Ghillie Suit

    BOOM! Ship it.

    He had it in his backpack. Luckily, he wasn't wearing it... if he was, I wouldn't have been able to loot it.

    Just got the game. I run around for an hour before I find a gun. After finally getting a pistol I found a working helicopter. I fly around in it for a couple minutes then turn off auto hover and immediately crash into some trees and die. Bad deal.

    Im no expert, but this is not a bad deal. That vid card is really nice and alone would run you $300+. What I wonder is ---with all that processing power and a top of the line vid card, why did he only put 4GB of ram in there? You would want to buy at least 4GB more to put in there.

    If the guy will come down on the price (says hes moving), and you can get him down to 500-550 it will be a pretty sweet deal. Just make sure you test drive it and know how to confirm the specs he posted are actually whats in there. And if I were you I would immediately add at least 4GB ddr3 which wont cost you much.

    with the extra ram, this cpu should run this game on max with good fps.

    I added 'Gloaming' as a friend on my DayZ Commander. I'll have a look for you tonight / this week.

    havent used dayz commander yet, i d/led it but got used to six launcher. pretty much the same thing? I only hesitate to switch because i have six launcher set to load the game from the ramdisk i set up for better fps.

    ramdisk is a program that creates a separate hard drive that you dedicate to running the game for better performance, even if you have a ssd. i recommend it if you want better fps, its pretty simple

    wait until you are several hours deep with a character, finally have a decent gun and meds, food, ect, and then some asshole snipes you from god knows where and you are donezo.

    So i restarted, found a tent loaded with stuff, shotgun, 7 ammos, 2 heat packs, 2 pepsis, 3 bandages and an akm(no ammo) so then I decide to mosey down to a farm, get mobbed, and realized the shotgun isn't too effective against a mob. What a beautiful mod, can't wait till beta build.
