I posted this in the marathon training thread but I will do it here too. This Sunday I am running the Marine Corps Marathon. If you live in the area my family and I will be in town Friday afternoon til after the race. We could meet up or you could just come out and yell at me as I run by.

It's just my wife and daughter that are coming with me. I don't know where they are going to post up early on but are going to try and stage at mile 23 late in the race. I have been told that there is no way they will get close to the finish line.Originally Posted by sponge1430

holy fuck ess286 is running 55 miles an hour. and he's headed right towards George Washington Hospital.
As someone who once came close to running a marathon and thinks he would have posted a good time, I'm jealous and I wish you the best of luck. Just out of curiosity, you have a time you're shooting for? -

What is your estimated mile time for the duration?
Do you have a running partner(s)?
I have about 15-20 friends running. I may be able to hook you up to one or two of them so it isn't so boring during the race. LMK.
Not sure what the plans are for the weekend---where you guys staying? -
