dead ppl in you'r phone = creepy?

    Was at work today, got sent for a random drug screen blah,blah and so on. So I am sitting waiting for them to call my name to go pee for them, have some spare time and I'm bored as hell so I start goin through my phone and deleting old contacts(ppl who got new#'s ex gf's ect.). After bout five min I begin to realize I have 5 dead ppl's numbers in my phone. I got kinda weirded out, So is it creepy to have deceased ppl's digits?

    I have my grandfather's number in my cell phone and he passed last year. He made some off the cuff comment about how long it will be before people take him out of their phones. So now I just can't do it.

    How many people's phone number do you have in your phone total? I'm curious what percent of the total died. If you have like 1,000 people in your phone then it's not super weird I guess, but if you only have like 30 numbers or something, then that would be pretty fucked up.

    yes it's kinda weird. it does feel sad when you have to delete someone's number because they're dead, especially a friend or someone you called a lot to hang out.I worked with a guy and when I found out that he died I meant to text someone else about it and ended up texting his number instead. I found that to be really fucked up when it happened.

    one of my good friends passed away about 4 years ago (suicide) and i havent taken his number out, just feels weird to delete it, but i can see why its creepy to keep it as well

    to each his own imo on this subject

    got around 400#'s or so I obv have not updated contacts list in a the last yr. 4 of em ( thepoker players) died in the last 1 to 1 1/2 yrs

    I find it even creepier when you're still friends with dead people on Facebook and one day you log in and facebook suggests that it's been a while and you should say hello to them.

    I have one in my phone. College roommate got super drunk and fell and hit his head on a curb and died. I just can't delete it though. Right after it happened my kid was playing with my phone and it started dialing his phone number. I was afraid his wife still had the phone and hoped it didn't ring.
