  1. So I got an email from paypal saying how they expect the transfers I received from people as "gifts" were for fantasy football (some people put in the message box fantasy football, lol). It is against their TOS, etc. What should I tell them?

  2. let me know wtf deal is...i got a fantasy hockey league set up

  3. You didn't realize and won't do it again.

Also since you're planning on winning everyone else is giving you a gift.
  4. Tell 'em it's for your new grill
  5. tell them it is a league maintenance fee for the commissioner service that you use for the league
  6. Tell them all about who you drafted and in which rounds. They'll get bored and tune out of your emails.

  7. Tell them it was donations for the spread you had catered for your FFB draft party.

Ok, the only thing is I am going to have to re-send this money out at the end of the FFB season and then they will be like WTF and might create tremendous problems...

Yeah but you will send it out in just one payment I assume and won't label it "FFB" so shouldn't get as much scrutiny. They probably have "ffb" and "fantasy football" set to automatically flag their security department.

think how many of these issues Paypal is flagging right now... I'd be pretty certain that they'll look for disbursements in January to people that were among the original parties sending them out, once your account is flagged.

Those guys don't fuck around, they will snap ban you if they see fit.

Yeah. The withdraw and send a check later is probably the best idea if you use my idea for the money coming to you. Or just win so you don't have to worry about it.

  15. lol i just want to share a PM that said 1 word: leet8smental

  16. I'm thinking the best idea is to withdraw. But I have to give them a viable reason first. The I hosted it in a hotel thing might not work if they can look into our addresses and see we are all across the country. Any other ideas?

  19. my source wishes to remain anonymous

  20. haha ok.

that opportunity was too good to pass up

  21. Pretty sure quietwinner got the same email due to the high number of transfers he got from running the megaleague.

I think he just agreed not to make/accept any new fantasy related transfers and plans on sending checks to the winners.
  22. Try using amazon payment services next time, Doubt they give a shit about fantasy football. Paypa/ebayl fucking suck
  23. lie about what it's for. cash it out.

send checks at end of season.

  24. Paypal doesn't like it when people "gift" money. They don't get their cut of fees when this happens.

and lie obv..and cashout / send checks
  25. you guys say lie but you dont say what to say.

I am 99% going to have to deal with this too. What are real recommendations to say for this?
  26. I just want to know why people put ffb in the comments.
  27. I hope Chaz is taking notes. This is how you properly set up a FFB scam. Set up an out months before the money will be due. Then you can drop the "Oh hey guys, remember that post I made months ago. Well paypal seized my account. Here's the email. FML. Gg"
    :)
  28. pretty sure they cant take your money, right?
  29. Tell them it's for drugs. At least it's not gambling.
  30. i got this same shit. I just said sorry i didnt know, i wont do it again. Then someone sent me another payment that i forgot about, and my account is still going thru bs lol
