  1. Why do they take forever to build a computer? They even pushed back my shipping date grrrr. I had a hell of a time with there call center and got bounced around like 20 times...anyone else have this problem?

  4. I have purchased like 6 computers from Dell. Never had a problem. Just be patient .
  5. my experience has been that they ship way faster than their estimates.

    keep in mind things like Japan could be holding your order up.
  6. I just hated that when I called none of them spoke clearly and I kept getting re routed and re routed to different departments

    I agree with this, but it is what keeps the computers cheap for us, so I put up with it.

    Secondly, use their online CHAT Function. I always use CHAT for anything I need, and it is a lot easier to talk to them and you can almost always get what you want. Even discounts.
  9. Their call center may be from India, but I've dealt with support numerous times and they're way more helpful then I expected and always super polite about it.

    Are any of the parts required out of stock?

    Did the Earthquakes in Japan have any effect on delivery times (they would have stated something on their site)?

    How long has it been since your order?

    If you honestly can't understand them, you can always request to speak to someone who speaks clear English.

    It is my understanding that they will have to transfer you to somebody back in the states?

    Nope. It might be someone still in India or Guatemala who just speaks more fluently or possibly an American supervisor who's based there.
  13. I just bought a sweet new laptop and had a great representative. It sounded like he was in the U.S. Supposed to ship out tomorrow.
