It's been an awesome run Timmie. Final 8 in the NFL after taking over a 1-4 team, pretty much as a rookie.
-
The Pats D deserves some of the credit for the terrible day Tebow had
-
brady punted the ball on 3rd down and it was lying on the ground in the broncoes redzone with like 3 pats around it. one of the pats lineman was just jogging down and was like 20 yards away from the ball and miller just blindsided the guy, smashed him for no reason other than he was butthurt cause brady fisted them. started a big pushy, shovy fall over thing and broncoes got all the flags. classy.
tebow 9 of 26 for 136.
LOL, such an awesome game. -
With 108 of those yards in garbage time. Lol.

I still like Tebow tho -
Fucking Broncos coaching staff ever thought to stop running and start throwing the ball?
-
Pretty happy with this outcome......
But can someone explain why the Pats would punt on 3rd down? Was at a bar and didn't hear Nance or Simms analysis on it. -
There really isn't a reason...there have been times where the "quick kick" has been used in the past. Normally it's when it's 3rd and forever, and you have a chance to get a forward roll and pin the other team on the goalline. Obv there is no punt returner back, so you get to down it wherever it rolls to.

Also, apparently Bellichick couldn't handle kneeling one time before punting...or he couldn't hold his trigger finger from passing on 3rd & long. He didn't want Brady to take a hit on 3rd down, so he just had him quick kick it.
Probably more likely that it was for shits n giggles tho. -
Exactly. Obv the official reason is the blitz, but he coulda done a bunch more things than having Brady punt it
-
Maybe put it in the minds of teams when Brady is facing a fourth and five at midfield. Who knows what goes on in the head of Belicheck
-
Well that was disappointing. Recorded it and just finished watching it. Not the game I was looking for. Guess I recorded the wrong game. I'm starting to not like the Pats. Guess it because they are so good but also a little cocky. Kind of the Duke affect. I liked seeing Hernandez get the shit knocked out of him and wobble off the field especially after he danced in the end zone on his TD. Whatever. They are good. Either a Niners Pats or Packers Pats Super Bowl will be good to watch for different reasons.

3rd down punt was the best play of the fourth quarter.

denver deferring on the kickoff ended up being a bad decision. they made their first mistake before the game started. -
My friend recorded the game, just finished watching.
Interesting to use Hernandez as a RB, I like. Couple unbelievable catches from Gronk. Those 2 TEs are unstoppable, such a ridiculous combination. Both only 22 years old, gonna be good times in NE for a long time.
Not much to say, was a massacre. Hopefully the Pats D gained some confidence and good to see most of them healthy -
Brady wont last forever. Soon some D-Lineman will snap his smug ass neck and not a fuck will be given on that day. At least not in Denver and NY and Miami and Oakland and Baltimore. Well you get the picture. Fuck him.

They made their first mistake by boarding the plane. -
umm hes been playing 10 years now and it hasn't happened so what makes you think it will in his last 5 years or so?

looooooooooooool lotsa butthurt about Brady itt
-
well shit son

having brady punt was standard douche behavior from coach belicheck tho. Good for Miller for hitting someone, that's what should happen when you do cocky shit like that.

They were saying it was because Denver was coming on a blitz and they didn't want to risk Brady getting hit.
fyi not butthurt at all, im all for running up the score/humiliating the opponent, but i'm also a fan of ripping people a new asshole when they do it! -
I wish the Pats ran up the score. After Brady's 6th TD with 11 minutes to go in the 3rd I thought he was going to throw for 8. The Ridley fumble may have cost him one, then when the had the ball inside the 5 they ran 3 times in a row. May hurt them too because Hernandez probably got a concussion, hope he plays next week (assume he will)
I don't understand the problem with punting on 3rd down or how it is cocky -
fuck tom brady
