Everyone's been bitching for the Rays to bring him up and it looks like it may be for good cause.

Already 2-2 with a triple, double, rbi, and run scored in first two at bats.
Been sitting on him in two of leagues, time it paid off. -
as long as he helps them to a 1 run victory im excited
ftr, he has looked stout at the plate -
Maybe this time around he has figured out how to hit MLB pitching. I dont get all of the Rays fans that complain about him being fucked and sitting in AAA, dude hasn't hit a bit in the majors.
-
Not sure if serious ... he had 24 career MLB plate appearances coming into this season.
-
5 days was more than enough for me, i was used to going for a day at a time while living in LA. GLGL on your move to Vancouver, i assume you will resume playing online?
-
He's rapey.
-
my fucking league has a cap on player adds/week, and I've already exceeded mine. praying my league mates are too hungover to check their rosters tomorrow so I can add him.
-
Who doesn't love a really fast black guy at the lead off position? Surprised they waited this long to call him up to be quite honest. Also rumors going around that BJ Upton might be moved before the deadline.
-
DJ has been on my bench for months in my keeper league and the dude can run a little..

I hope you're wrong cause I just dropped Logan Morrison for him. Morrison has been pretty meh and I wanted to boost my steals a lil more.
He's only 24 and has been doing pretty well in triple A. He's 6'2 and 200 lbs so he's not a munchkin or anything he should have a lil pop you would think.
Why don't you think he will ever hit big league pitching does he have a really slow bat or something?? -
lol just saw this...i love damon's "WOW" reaction after he turns to check where the ball was.

not like that was on a slouch in RF, either. Frenchie has one of (if not THE) the best arms in the league. -
Picked him up due to this thread 4 days ago. thx. Oh and looks like he can hit major league pitching as well.
-
.382 on-base in the minors tho.

He's had a good start, but he's obviously over his head. I'd see what I could trade him for in fantasy right now. -
this should be in its own thread.
-
meh, Carlos Gomez is faster than that.
-
Jennings just hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 10th to tie the game at 4-4. He's been absolutely money since being called up.
-
i fucking hate him!

Edited By: TheWacoKidd Aug 5th, 2011 at 01:38 AMso since you were shitting on him for doing nothing in 24 fucking PA's, how high are you on him now? lol @ ever judging ANYTHING on a sample size like that (or the one from this year)Originally Posted by sellittojohn

and you try to act like you are some baseball savant on here because you work around the game or whatever... funny stuff -
This kid is single handedly saving two of my teams, thanks OP
-
Still want to trade him?? I'm sure glad I dumped LoMo for him!! 300+ avg 5 dongs and 9 steals already!! Not bad for a guy that can't hit big league pitching. I also scooped Lawrie and Strasburgh yaaaaaaaa boi waiver wire gemzzzzz
-
referring to home runs as "dongs" is my least favorite baseball trend.
Jennings is a top 100 fantasy pick next year and maybe a top 50 if he finishes out the year strong. -
Here I thought with a bump he hit a few bombs and swiped a few....and he was 0/4 on the day. No individual player bumping w/o a big day!
