A few to watch:
Nick Watney (1), Brandt Snedeker (2), Tiger Woods (3) – The top group in FedExCup points, with Watney replacing Woods at No. 1 with his win last week at The Barclays.
Rory McIlroy (4), Zach Johnson (5), Jason Dufner (6) – Dufner makes his 2012 Playoffs debut this week after taking off last week.
Bubba Watson (7), Dustin Johnson (8), Carl Pettersson (9) – Watson ranks No. 1 on the PGA TOUR in driving distance; Johnson ranks seventh. Pettersson? He’s a respectable 38th in that category – tied with Tiger Woods.
Phil Mickelson (17), Ernie Els (18), Rickie Fowler (19) – We’ll go out on a limb and say this trio will have a decent-sized gallery this week.

Nice! I went to the 4th round in 2004 when Vijay won... it's a great course to walk.
Looks like a lot of birdie chances early for guys... some -2 and -3 first 9 scores so far. -
Woods is currently alone in 1st at -4
-
Was 2004 before redesign?
Totally forgot Friday start, was wondering why I was watching a documentary on tgc when I got home last night
Think it was Hagen, but great story by Venturi about him -
He would always ask who has course record here and what is
Why do you always ask that?
Because if it's the course pro with the record you never break it ( unless in tourn)
Why is that?
Because that is his home and you are just visiting
- be nice if more than like 5% of people were respectful these days -
-8
