So, I guess it was the reporter who shot Lundy, but the Trinity's daughter thing came out of fucking nowhere. The last few episodes will be awesome.

The preview for next weeks episode has me stoked.

This. I think making the reporter Trinity's daughter was a little bit cheesy though. When the OP said "didn't see that coming" I was expecting something much better.

I think it was between seasons 2-3 that it was done....

I think she did it on her own, but even if it was with his instructions that doesn't mean he would know who dexter was, just like she has no idea who "kyle" is. I'm assuming they will put those pieces together, now, though.

It's not surprising that it is the reporter, she was the only person it could have been unless they were going to make it an unseen character. I couldn't think of any motive that they were going to give her, though, being trinity's daughter is a good one. Their relationship and their history is now the most interesting aspect of the show.

Callign the daughter "vera," the family seeming to know that he is a killer, and the whole dinner scene were incredible. Really curious to see how that plays out.

If they could just resist devoting any more time to the laguerta and angel love story this could be some of the best episodes of the series.

If she did it on her own, wouldn't that make their father, daughter relationship, in the context of the story, purely coincidental? If so, that's a big leap of faith for me to take.

This show just keeps getting better and better. This is by far one of best episodes ever.

I think it is definitely possible taking in the character of Trinity as a whole... I mean his sister died because he was peeking at her in the shower... Maybe I'm naive in that I would rather him just be an abusive father / serial killer.

I thought Lithgow's character was LAME a shit all season, I shoulda known they were setting up some craaziness.

The reporter chick is hot, but she doesn't do it for me. I think it's the forehead.

Rita's hot but I'd prefer to just bang the actress that plays her. Rita the character doesn't seem like an exciting lay. still hit that too tho
