    really excited since i loved playing diablo II, anyone seen a reliable release date yet? also trying to gauge interest in a p5s guild maybe

    I think this is at least a few years off... Blizzard basically put out one new game per year, and I think they're going to come out with an expansion for SC2 before the launch Diablo 3. Not sure though, but I'd be shocked if we saw Diablo 3 in the next 18 months.

    I believe that Blizzard plans to release it in Fall 2014, after a couple of Starcraft II expansions and some more WoW expansions, the last of which will allow players to reach level 92.5.

    i hate blizzard. they take WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too fucking long to release their games.

    but i love them. warcraft 2 is still amazing. LOVE that game

    I absolutely love the Diablo series. I know how Blizzard works, but no way its coming out in 2014. Although there won't be any estimates by Blizz for some time now, I think theres a chance it comes out late 2011, but more likely the summer of 2012.

    And no, Diablo is not like Wow. World of Warcraft is Diablo's gay younger brother.

    jesus...gg life just like back in high school when I played diablo 2. All I know is I'm going to be hurting at work when that game comes out. I'm gonna be so god damn tired from playing all night.

    If you are looking for a game like Diablo2 I'd highly suggest checking out a game called Torchlight. It's cheap and fun and reminds me very much of D2.

    Good call, I love Torchlight. Mindless fun. And it was only about $20 when it first came out.

    I got it on Steam a few months ago for 5 bucks. Gotta love the crazy deals they have. titan Quest is also a good D2 type game thats alot of fun too but be sure you get it with the Immortal Throne addon.

    There is no reliable release date IMO. They have been talking about releasing for it for about 5 years.

    wow on a smaller scale with a real story and lots of other stuff..diablo is way better i think

    They'll probably give a vague target date at Blizzcon, in late October. They're still trying to push out the latest WoW expansion this year, so I'd say late next year at the earliest. If you ever get wind of a beta, probably ~6 months after that.
