    What are your thoughts on this? Good, bad, past experiences? Obviously depends on the situation. Part-time/temp jobs don't count as much since there are no long-term considerations. I think as long as both people either A) have worked with each other for a fairly long time and are able to keep quiet or B) you're on some type of special outing or travel where the person would never be encountered again.

    Only exp. i have with this is at retail stores years ago and not too much became of it, few months hanging out, no sex. Obviously at your career job is a lot different because you could be seeing these people everyday for the rest of your life. This is also more geared to if both are already in relationships/married.

    In a job - yes, in a career - no, it's not worth it....

    For years now I've just been using ballpoint pens. They are much more convenient.

    edit- I've never had sex with one though. I'm a little confused about that part.

    There is no keeping it quiet. Coworkers who sleep together will often fool themselves by thinking they're doing an awesome job of keeping it on the downlow but all they're really doing is insulting everyone else's intelligence. Trust me, I have been one of those dipshits and someone told me a few years later that everyone knew what was going on.

    Think about it. Employees see male and female coworkers smile at each other a few times and snapfuck assume that they must be having sex with each other twice nightly, even when no such thing is going on, so there's no fooling them when some hanky panky actually is happening. And god forbid the male and female employees should go to lunch together. They minus well be doing it on the boardroom table as far as everyone else is concerned.

    Tim is correct...I don't really think it can be kept a secret and from my experience it's not very good for the workplace relationship. It's pretty easy for your best friend/fav coworker to become the person you try to avoid on a daily basis.
