    Last night i went to the Suns vs Mavs in Indian Wells California at the tennis garden. It was badass. The place is about half the size of the staples center so any seat was kickass. What i noticed was. No Carlisle, No amare staudomire, shawn mariam was on the mavs, childress had a humungus alibaba afro, and steve nash was doing his typical one foot runners and it was overal awesomness. Cuban was even there. I cant believe they traded amare but that team was never gonna win a chamionship.

    We get there before tip off and i see dirk draining shots from the sideline. Seriously 30 for 30 or more. He never missed a shot. It was like 83 degrees with no wind whatsoever. Then Dirk never played. So i just checked out the local paper and it says this. So thus....Dirk is proven...to be....a fuckface.

    Mavericks coach collapses, Dirk Nowitzki will pass on Indian Wells



    Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle collapsed in practice Friday prior to the team leaving for Indian Wells. A day before, superstar Dirk Nowitzki said he would pass on Indian Wells.

    According to reports, Carlisle was taken to a hospital, but Mavericks executives said he was doing well. The executives also said Carlisle will not make the trip to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for Saturday's NBA Outdoor game against the Phoenix Suns.
    A day before, Nowtizki said he would not play Saturday. He was quoted in AOL Fanhouse saying, "Outdoors, I wasn't really great outdoors growing up, if you depend on a jump shot a lot. If it's a windy night, I might as well stay home. So I think that's a good one to pass."

    I was wondering who he was as well... on another note, Stoudemire was never traded by Phoenix and instead left via FA.

    And I agree with you OP, that's quite a douche move by Dirk.

    shawn mariam was on the suns and was a big part of the suns at one time. The suns and mavs are constant rivals. It ties into the weird dynamics of the two teams. Nash was on the mavs and is now on the suns etc etc. To see shawn mariam on the mavs was cool just knowing the two teams are rivals and was an obvious move by mark cuban i think. It was a cool move. That is the bigger letdown of Dirk not playing. Kinda ruined nash vs dirk.. dirk never wanted nash to leave. sigh..ef dirk

    his name is actually spelled shawn marion i think.

    also, they have no idea how to handle traffic at all
