NCAA by far
-
College basketball is way more "pure" than the NBA. So if you are a real sports fan, I would assume you'd like NCAA hoops.
-
NCAA slightly but I'm a huge fan of both. NFL > NCAA by far on the other hand.
-
NCAA and it's not even close.
In the NCAA the players play with passion and heart. Once you go pro, it's business and treated like a job for most athletes. -
The answer is:
NCAA during tourney time.
NBA every time else. -
NCAA - and it's not even close
-
ncaa>>>>>>>>>>> NBA
-
March Madness is the best. but no way would I rather watch some crappy, little ncaa school play each other during the regular season over an NBA game.
-
the NBA is so boring.
NCAA by a mile. -
NCAA all day....
-
March Madness > NBA Playoffs > NCAA Reg season > NBA Reg Season.
-
NCAA > NBA
NCAA > NFL
MLB > NCAA
UEFA > NCAA
PGA > NCAA
I pretty much find all other televised sports equally unwatchable, except for women's beach volleyball, of course. -
NBA is more exciting except for March Madness.
I seriously watch like 0 college basketball before MM comes around.
Oh and NFL is like 432598290x better than NCAA football/any other sport. -

Anyone who knows basketball and appreciates the best knows the play in the NBA is tonnnnnnsss better than it is in college. A lot of the allure of tourney time is betting and brackets, although the games are obv great, but seriously, the NBA is 10000000 times better basketball, and the playoffs have been gross (in a good way) the last few years. -
I am shocked by all the "if you know sports you know NCAA is the tits" sentiment around here.
The truth is that NBA Playoffs are the best basketball around.
Here is the correct order... NBA Playoffs>March Madness>NBA Reg Season>NCAA Reg season -
don't watch any of the regular season for either, but March Madness is the stone nuts. can't wait for buzzer beaters, Cinderellas, and One Shining Moment.
-
I think I would rather watch NJIT play North Carolina Central in a summer scrimmage than watch game 7 of a Lakers Cavs NBA final and it is even close.
-
The NBA playoffs are too watered down. 2 months and more than half the teams make the playoffs.
-
it depends. if i'm watching the 2 top 5 teams play against eachother in the NBA, i would rather watch that then a top 5 matchup in the NCAA. if its 2 teams ranked btw 20-30 in the nba then i would rather watch a NCAA game btw 2 unranked teams.
as far as playoffs go:
NBA finals>nba conference finals>NCAA final 4>NCAA elite 8>NBA semi finals> sweet 16>NCAA rd 1/2>nba opening rd. -
actually in my mind the NCAA opening weekend is the most exciting. This is when all the real upsets occur and everyone still has a living bracket.

Nothing like calling in sick at work and getting to watch 4 games at once every 3 hours!
Once my bracket is dead and there are only 8 teams left is when I actually prefer the NBA playoffs so...
NCAA opening rds> NCAA sweet 16 > NBA final 4 > NBA finals (spurs pistons is unwatchable...) > NCAA all others> NBA opening round....(the Bucks are the current 8 seed...) -
also agree with another point above that the quality of play is just so much better in the NBA that it makes a huge difference. Love the tourney and the passion of NCAA fans, but the product is so sick in the pros...
-
the one thing i do not like about the NBA is there are way to many teams that get in the playoffs. it should be 4 from each conference. That would make the regular season a lot more exciting. By all-star game we already know 14/16 teams that are gonna make the playoffs. Which makes the 1st rd so uninteresting, no one is really cares to watch cleveland play a below .500 8 seed. The west first rd has been good though the last few years cause every team was actually good.
-
that was a historic and well deserved win. they are building a solid program up there in New Jersey. If all goes right, I see a 5 win season on the distant horizon.
