the n.b.a. finals would be tape delayed till after the 11p.m. news, their were only 3 n.f.l. games on t.v in a week when mlb pitchers pitched 300 innings, when a save meant comming in in the seventh with 2 on and 1 out and pitching till the game ended, remeber getting to the basbeall park early and watching them play pepper,do you remeber when 1000 yards in a season meant u avgd more than 63 yards a game.................................i could go on forever with the exception of an over staturized football on t.v.(which99%of us dont mind) what do u remember miss good/bad about the old days in sports?
yes i know its a 40-50 word paragraph with shit puncuation shoot me im playing cards insteadd of working for a 4th st day because its raining :) -

Not all of us lived in the dinosaur ages.

Oh lord I'd hate for you to have to work a full 4 days in a row

Yea when was this?

I miss Michael Jordan. Like the 90's MJ, not the 2k+ MJ.

I think I just missed a lot of the stuff listed here (I'm 30 now, and I don't remember pepper or the 300 innings, or the tape delayed NBA, except in movies).
But, I think you can do other ones too.
Remember when a young pitcher would have an arm injury, and his career was over (as opposed to on hold for a year or 2 with Tommy John Surgery).
Somethings were better in the old days, some in the new. Really though, I don't miss the 300 innings. I don't mind having situational pitchers during the season, even if it might cost a team a game or two. It keeps everyone healthier for September/October, when you start seeing teams just ride their best players to the finish.
