Bigger Stronger Faster isn't all that good but it's worth watching.

You should check out "The Dancing Outlaw", the one they did on Jesco ~20 years ago. Can rent it off Amazon iirc. There's clips of it in the Wild and Wonderful Whites, i.e.

  10. "The Cove" I don't think anyone mentioned it yet. Its a documentary about the slaughtering of dolphins in Japan. This guy from the show "Flipper" gathers a team together and they orchestrate a plan to plant video cameras under water near the cove where the slaughtering takes place. Its a really eye opening documentary and pretty sad to watch but its definitely worth watching.

Btw I watched Hoop Dreams yesterday and enjoyed it but its 3 god damn hours. I lost interest after the first half and had to force myself to watch the 2nd.
  11. The bridge. I thinks its called. its a bit morbid. suicide from the Golden Gate. I guess its the suicide hotspot

    The Cove
    Earthlings
    Food Inc (not mentioned yet)
    Home

Food Inc has not been listed here but it is very eye opening. I was thinking about that movie for many months after I watched it.

just finished this, it was great, a lot of unintentional comedy, and fuck that billy mitchell prick.

Earthlings...is this the same as that video that someone posted a few months ago where they slit cows throats and watch them squirm and take foxes and rip their skin off while they are still alive? Yeah...PASS.
  14. havent read responses, so just listing some favorites of the more famous docs:

    "king of kong"
    "capturing the friedmans"
    "man on wire"
    "grizzly man"
    "hoop dreams"
    "murderball"
    "pumping iron"
    "sonicsgate"

  19. that electric car documentary is the funniest thing ever. I've seen some one sided views before (Michael Moore for example) but they pale in comparison to that thing. I did laugh a few times though. Decent comedy.
  20. just finished the Whites of WEst Virginia Documentary...gah damn that hank williams3 can play some guitar

  21. One of the ESPN 30 for 30 docs - The Two Escobars is sublime. All about the events leading up to the Colombian football teams participation in the '94 world cup and the subsequent shooting of one of their players for scoring an own goal, all interlaced with Pablo Escobars exploits and how they were inextricably linked together.

Also, good shout on Riding Giants, I rewatched this the other day on bluray. good film. Also in the same vein (its by the same person) is 'Dogtown and Z-Boys' all about the rise of skateboarding and the kids who were a part of it. There's also a hollywood film version of this which isnt as good but it includes an amazing Heath Ledger performance.

I just finished watching this. Well, actually like 90% done with it, so I don't know how it ends, but this is great. Mitchell is definitely a huge douchebag.

The reason I posted is that I was just struck at the phenomenal level of ego of some of those dudes, especially Mitchell and Day, the head referee guy. When he was retiring the Day something like "But this this will always be my baby, it came right out of my psyche." As though he created something like the next Microsoft or Google.

It's pretty astounding how full of themselves these guys which, it why Weibe was such a compelling character, because he was distinct from the rest of the horde in being humble.
  25. iirc didnt that douchebag mitchell answer his phone "The King"?

Such a great doc. Gonna watch it again tonight.

I can't remember a King answer, but I def. do remember him answering "World Record Holder." And, when the Suh character was fellating him on the phone as his video showed his score hitting a million he said, "Not even Helen of Troy had that much attention." His tactics are referred to as "Obi Wan Kenobi-ing people." It's really almost farcical, the level of ego.

I am watching the end as they are going for the Guiness record. There is a palatable sense of tension, lol. Such a great suggestion from this thread.

Yeah I did a bit of research on it after watching and read one or two interviews with BM. He actually took the world record back from SW and believe it or not it was actually at a live event. It's changed hands several times since and currently held by some plastic surgeon called Hank!

I actually went on that Twin Galaxies website and it's pretty fucking funny the amount of gaming world records they have on there...the most bizarre and random of games are recorded.

  29. regarding king of kong...did anyone else get the feeling that although these guys were total video game freaks, that you could pull any of the elite halo or cod players off the shelf, have em practice for a week and they'd smash the kong record?

Like watching them play, is jumping barrels with mario really more difficult than a no scope triple kill?
  30. lol this is one I wont be watching:-

You know... I didn't post this upload to hear people bicker amongst themselves. God told me to post this torrent with the dvd incase anyone decided they didn't want to read the book and would like to watch the dvd instead. I am not here to sugar coat. Heaven and Hell are real. Before anyone falsely misinterprets anything else. I do NOT condemn, judge, or accuse or anything else following those lines. I am no better than anyone here. For some of you persons to be so crooked to tell me that witchcraft, demonology, science, and anything else is aloud on Demonoid but nothing can be posted pertaining to Christianity is just absurd! If I censored all of your material I'm sure you'd be mad. Please be respectful. It's your choice to watch or download if you wish. Another thing I wanted to add is the MP3 is ripped from the DVD. This is incase you don't want to download the DVD rip. Thank You. God Bless.

Product Description (DVD): 23 Questions About Hell contains to-the-point answers to the questions that Bill Wiese has most been asked about hell since his best-selling 23 Minutes in Hell first released. Each answer is based on the Word of God, and the combined answers provide a fresh understanding about some of life s Whys as they relate to hell and eternity. This book will clear up misconceptions and presuppositions about God s character, and about who goes to heaven, and who doesn t. It clearly demonstrates that we are held accountable for our decisions in life.

The book includes a DVD -- with Bill's amazing story and the lessons he's learned from his visit to HELL.

    Product Description (Book):

"My sincere hope is that this book is the closest you will ever come to experiencing hell for yourself."
Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and rotting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit.

"Tell them I am coming very, very soon!"

Wiese’s visit to the devil’s lair lasted just twenty-three minutes, but he returned with vivid details etched in his memory. Since this life-changing ordeal, he has spent the last seven years studying the scriptures to find answers and has listed more than 150 Bible verses referencing hell.

Everyone is curious about the afterlife, and now Wiese shares his insights to commonly asked questions such as:

Is hell a literal burning place?
    Where is hell?
Do you have a body in hell?
Are there Degrees of punishment in hell?
    Are there children in hell?
Can Demons torment people in hell?
Can "good" people go to hell?

"Even if you don’t believe my story, I hope you will believe the scriptures and avoid hell just the same."

Not Saved? Want to be Saved?

    Follow these simple steps;

First step: Realize You Are A Sinner

“For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” -Romans 3:23

“For the wages (payment) of sin is death” -Romans 6:23

    Step 2: Repent

“ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” -Hebrews 9:27

“God . . . commandeth all men everywhere to repent” -Acts 17:30

This repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Jesus did for us on the Cross.

re·pent [ri-pent] - to feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one's life for the better; be penitent.

    Step 3: Believe

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” -Romans 10:13

Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: “God be merciful to me a sinner.” Pray this (or you can make up your own prayer): “Oh God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen.”

Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!

AFTER you are saved, you should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . .” (2 Timothy 1:8).

Please note that you DON'T have to be baptized to go to Heaven. It is a step of obedience for the believer.

“Whosoever therefore shall [confess (testify of) Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven.” (Matthew 10:32
