    Advertise in Boston even though they dont have any stores here? The cable companies allow you to localize your commercials, so if they had stores in CT, they could just advertise in CT. I actually have no idea where the closest one is, there are certainly none in Mass or NH. I have been to a lot of Rhode Island and never seen one and I have been to very limited parts of CT (mostly the foxwoods area) and never seen one. So as far as I know, they arent even in any states that BOARDER Mass...but yet they advertise here?

    Same thing in Detroit man.
    If i had 100k+ I would open a sonic around here.
    It would be the only one in michigan and with the delicious commerials running nonstop I dont see how I wouldn't make huge profits...

    Sonic advertises here in South Florida too, but I've never even seen a Sonic in my life. It drives me nuts because my wife loves Sonic. (she used to go to them before she moved to Florida) Every time the commercial comes on, she has to tell me AGAIN how much she loves Sonic. Like I care.

    Sonic needs to GTFO of my commercials.

    P.S., I'm not sure, but I think the commercials are national advertising, not local. I could be wrong.

    It likely indicates that they're soon to open there. We got ads for some place that's like a Chuck E Cheese for grownups about 6 months before the first one opened.

    That's bullshit i went to a Sonic in colorado!

    oh and for the record, sonic fucking sucks. The commercials airing non stop in boston made me want to try it so bad, but once i got to one it fuckin blew. Avoid sonic at all costs.

    same issue here man, we have zero sonics any closer than Champaign, IL which is 150+ miles away, and Sonic fucking owns wish we had it. Also, my nemesis Chik-Fil-A likes to show their cows flying into football stadium commercials and there is not one within 70 miles of here.

    There are actually 2 sonics in clearwater florida. Sonic is a developing market in Florida.

    Plus on a side note. Its cheaper to buy national tv flights, then just 0 out the markets that don't have sonics. Also I believe sonic is pushing to open up in every state by 2010.

    those stats must be for Jack in the Box, because we have 3 Sonics in Muskogee and I know of many more in surrounding towns.

    Ive seen Jack in the Box commercials while in Jersey and in Philly. I have no clue where to even find one.

    Maybe the advertise in other markets to guage interest in the product

    Jack not in CO from the death of some fool eating Jack about 10 years back sfrigged

    Actually I looked into it. You have to have a "liquid" 2 Mil. in assets (in addition to start up costs + franchise fees) in order to be qualified to be able to get one.

    The closest one to south FL is Naples me and my boy took a 2 hr road trip there one day (smoked the whole way obv) just because the commercials were killing us.

    i'm like 95% sure they're for jack in the box, too, because there are 2 jack in the box locations in las cruces but none here in albuquerque. so f'ing rigged.

    We have Sonics here in Nebraska, outside of peanut butter chocolate shakes, everything there is really average. Dairy Queen kicks its ass up and down the block IMO. I work at D&B, it's ok although everyday I plot of new ways to break our blenders so I can stop making hellspawn frozen drinks and milkshakes. I remember about 3 weeks ago it was a busy Saturday night and I was getting my ass handed to me. This short, squat Pat looking individual waddled up to the bar and starting snapping its fingers at me to get my attention. Snapping your fingers at me isn't going to get my attention, I will however notice your prescence and make a note to ignore you. So I go about my business helping other people make bad descisions when this individual pushes its way into my plane of view and makes its order. 'I want a neopolitan milkshake and make sure its layered'. I bite my tongue because my manager had warned me about making smartass comments. So I pump the milkshake out and charge 'em for the drink. He/she haggles with me about why it's 3.75, I tell it, 'Sorry I don't make the prices did you still want the milkshake?' It grumbles, 'fine' and proceeds to pull out a bag of change, I stifle a laugh, it takes a sip of the milkshake and complains it isn't thick enough. Some guy behind it, hears the exchange and screams, 'GODDAMN YOU STUPID FUCK IF YOU WANT A MILKSHAKE GO TO FUCKING GOODRICH!!! MOVE YOUR ASS!!!' I can no longer contain my laughter and starting laughing hysterically...poor bastard paid for his/her drink then slinked away. My insult lobbing friend got his round for free and a big 'thank you' from me. Haahaahah, that made my night.

    Alberquerque is the shit. Place is so crazy...i had the time of my life there and was only there for 3 days. We went to some awesome places for food around the city, if i lived there i would never want to go to a jack in the box anyway.
