3 people all chip in $10...... ( 3x10=30 )
the waiter says they were over charged $5
each person took back $1 and gave the waiter $2 ( 1+1+1+2=5)
therefor each person only paid $9 ( 9x3=27 ) and the waiter got $2 ( 27+2=29 )
where did that other $1 go? -

lol 25/3 does not equal 8, it equals 8.33333333333 so add a dollar to that and you get that each person paid 9.33333333333 with equals roughly 28 which leaves 2 to the waiter. You're a moron.

Pretty simple, resteraunt takes their $25, each person pulls $1 back and waiter takes $2. 25+1+1+1+2=$30. What is the problem?
