  1. The website my company just launched today is apparently not working properly on some versions of Firefox. If you could check it out, CourseCracker.com, and let me know if the homepage looks right or if the text is still jacked up, I would really appreciate it.

I would be interested to know how it looks in all browsers, I hope the errors are exclusive to FF. Please post your Web Browser with version # and your OS with your reply so I know which ones are working and which aren't. To find out the Browser version go to the "Help" tab and then "About Mozilla Firefox" or "About Internet Explorer". I'm not positive how to check out the others (Bing, Safari, Chrome, etc.) but I'm sure it is something similar.

Thanks in advanced to anybody that replies, I've been stressing out all day trying to figure this out. Also, if anybody has any opinions about the site itself I would love to hear them too.
  2. FF 3.0.16 looks fine except i cant create a study group lol
  3. In ie8 the blue links under the boxes are messed up
  4. Some blue links are disabled unless your logged into an account. If you sign up for an account they will work. I don't like that personally but we had other bigger issues to deal with first before we fix those.

    Thanks for the replies.

Ok that's the error we were getting. I think the problem is the font is larger than it's supposed to be for some reason. Is that what it looks like to you?

Also, what web browser/version are you using?

  9. Firefox 3.5.6

The font doesn't really look larger than it should I don't think but then again I don't know how big its supposed to be. It is definitely larger than the regular black text but its not too large at all. Also the girl in the reds hair is covering up the very end of the letter d in classified. Also above her elbow is covering the h in touch a few lines below.

Where is the Join now its free supposed to be in comparison to that big blue horizontal line running across the page?

From my perspective it looks like the girl, join now its free, and the large navy blue horizontal line need to move down like 1/4th an inch.
  10. looks shitty on safari too
  11. arrrrg I can't believe I fell for that. f gay porn sites.

it looked fine tho (firefox. version...I dunno)
  12. I'm using the latest IE and everything looks great, but what is up with having to stretch the window all the way accross my 23in widescreen monitor? Most websites take up the width of 1/2 the screen. This should probably be changed, IMO.
    EDIT: Using Windows 7
  13. Cool thanks. The problem only seems to occur in FF 3.5.6, but it must be some other issue because that is what I'm using too and it's fine.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Unfortunately the whole site is justified to the right which I don't like, but we inherited it that way from the old developer and haven't had time to change it yet. You shouldn't have to stretch it across the whole screen to see the entire page tho, is that what is happening?

Thanks, I didn't even notice the nav links being messed up. What OS are you using? It seems the problems are mostly in FF 3.56, but I don't see them.

FF 3.5.6 but in IE8 they look fine? weird.
  21. Whoops meant 3.5.6 and it can be very strange how different a site can look between browsers, or even versions of browsers.

Also, if you don't mind could you tell me what your operating system is (Windows XP, Vista, etc.)?
