    Doesn't it feel good to be in the Big Blue nation. To watch the All-American game and realize that all those guys w/ the Memphis beside their name are now realizing the enormity of being a Cat. Yep, life is good in the Bluegrass!!!

    you do realize that UK has no scholarships open for this upcoming year, right? that means that all of these mcdonald's all-americans aren't going to walk-on and pay their own way for a year just to be with calipari...

    you do realize that UK has frequently cut scholarships before....and u do realize that one year of walk on and playing at KY against nationally-recognized competition with a coach that puts people in the pros isn't too bad...lol....no, we won't get any of those guys. U have no clue

    you have to be the biggest ignoramus of all-time if you believe these top 50 recruits are going to walk-on at UK when they can find 250 schools who will pay their entire way to play ball for one year before jumping to the league.

    and you're an even bigger moron if you consider SEC basketball to be great competition...tbh--conference USA wasn't much of a step down from the SEC this year. and, with the non-conference schedule that memphis normally puts together, they'd probably play better competition going to memphis.

    I just heard that the Dayton Daily News reported that a close source to Lebron James said he is considering going back to college and playing for UK. He says he has 4 years of eligibility and a shitload of money, why not take March Madness by storm. "I'm considering the Cats. They're the bomb". As reported by DDN

    its not about "over-paying" its about paying the best canidate at the time..as stated on PTI..i totally agree with this..UK needed the best coach available..Calipari was the best one..Memphis was gonna match..they had to over pay to get him..its not about credentials, its about WHEN..same as free agents..

    recruits aren't going to walk on, Uk wont renew the current pine riders scholarships if they have them..to get 3 top recruits in the country to make your team a top 5 caliber they will reneg then offer those memphis transfers scholarships..that is how much they want to win..

    anyone want over/under on how long Calipari lasts? i say 3 yrs..no NC hes gone..
