Dollar of debt for each Dollar of Tax revenue

    Since 2008 the Gov. has issued a dollar of debt for every dollar of tax revenue in order to keep the economy afloat. In other words tax revenues would have fallen 50 Percent short of what was needed to fund the Government.

    It shows how fragile our economy is, and why all of these massive spending programs Obama is instituting will be leading your way of life into a death spiral. I cannot understand how people, but especially young people who have the most to lose cannot see what is happening and what is coming when this ponzi scheme collapses....

    they should definitely take from the rich and give to their friends and buy votes. Should probably take over the banking industry, implement a VAT, more regulation and higher taxes. The problem is they just don't take in enough revenue.

    CARACAS, Venezuela — A Venezuelan politician is holding an unusual raffle to raise campaign cash. The grand prize: breast implants.

    For a little under $6 a ticket, donors get the chance to win the pricey operation free of charge.
    Breast enlargement is widely popular in image-conscious Venezuela. In recent years as many as 30,000 women have had the operation annually, according to the nation's Plastic Surgery Society.
