I really think this deserves it's own thread. I hadn't eaten at Domino's for years, because I thought it sucked. However, I was super hungry and a Domino's ad on some website sucked me in. I had also heard recently that their pizza was better than before.

After getting to the site I learned that on Mon, Tues, and Weds you can get a large 3 topping carryout pizza for $8. This seemed like an insanely good deal and I have a domino's pretty damn close by so I thought why not. Well long story short it was a really good pizza and was 10x better than I remembered domino's pizza being. It actually seems like the ingredients are fresh and the cheese is definitely real and whatnot. Also the crust is super garlicky, buttery and delicious.

All in all, Domino's rocks. $8 for a large pizza is a great deal and I will prob be getting fatter now because of their awesomeness.

Domino's is fucking terrible. I hate this place more than anything. I thought it was total dogshit but for some reason my roomie and I decided to give it a chance a few days before we went on spring break. Sure enough we both got food poisoning and it almost ruined our trip.

I actually got retweeted a few weeks ago by some food blog when I tweeted that Domino's shouldn't be allowed to have commercials let alone make pizza.

their marketing campaign where they basically trash themselves was a big deal in the marketing world when they first started it a couple years ago. people thought it was crazy that a company would point out its flaws in advertisements. it ended up working pretty well and now they go to it all the time. the last one i recall was when they show a picture of a bad delivered pizza. remember they did a campaign where they were like send us a picture of your pizza and it could end up in a commercial? they used a fucking picture of a shitty pizza all messed up when the customer got it instead of a nicely delivered pizza like you would think. then the ceo or whoever the fuck he is was like we cant let this happen. we will do a better job.

I live in a small piece of shit town our pizza choices are a local place that use just tomato sauce no spices and plain crust so gross, Pizza Hut and Dominos ..... Dominos hands down is the best choice of the 3.

We have had Papa Johns come into 3 times and fail, close shop unannounced and just go away.

Wish we has better choices for pizza as I have traveled and found lots of awesome pizza, but Dominos locally is 10 times better then Pizzahut or the local shithole.

completely agree with OP. I gave Domino's a new chance and I absolutely love it. The crust is insanely good and the boneless chicken tenders are the nuts too. Fucking love domino's now.

"Delicious" is taking it a bitttt far because obviously there's wayyyyy better pizza out there all over the place. That said, ima get OP's back here a little bit...Dominos (at least the one at 21st and K in DC) has stepped its game up a lot...I ordered from there heaps of times last semester without complaint. about 2 years ago i discovered a loophole in my local dominoes. they offered large pepperonis for takeout for only 5.99.

tuesdays was "two-for-tuesdays" and i thought for sure it wouldn't work. but it did! TWO LARGE PEPS FOR 5.99!!! it only worked for about two months (3-4 visits), but it was fun while it lasted

Dominoes is actually pretty damn good in my area. Either that, or it tastes like crap to most people, but amazing to me. Pizza hut/ pizza 73 taste like cheap garbage to me. Also I have yet to find better barbeque wings then dominoes, they are amazing. Cinnastix too.

i guess its just each to their own, mine always seems to be good. i dont really like pizza hut, ive never had a take away from there either because their buffet put me off.
