    I download episode of high stakes poker and when I try to play it in windows media player it only gives me the audio.

    HELP! Simple walk through on what I need to do to see the show!

    Do a google search for Windows XP codec pack...download, and install. Then play your video.

    sounds like a codec problem... go to www.divx.com and download the smallest and freeest bundle (the player and codecs only i think)... never had any problem playing any file in divx player. i don't use it by default, but it's always sitting by on my desktop ready to lend a helping hand.

    edit: what he said works too, and is prolly simpler.

    you can either do a search for a codec to make it work with windows media player ...

    or download DivX player which will play all your files downloaded via torrent:

    go to google and search for VLC media player, once you find a site to download it from, get it...you'll never use windows media player to watch videos again...vlc plays everything.

    Google for g-spot codec tool, it tells you all sorts of useful info about all your vids, including what codecs they need and if they need seperate audio codecs (i.e ac3 filter) etc.
