drving to canada- what doc's do i need to take with me

    born in chicago, drving to toronto. Do i need a passport or can i take my drivers License and birth certificate---

    Any one know? thanks in advance

    I think you need a passport these days, not sure how strictly it's enforced though.

    passport not neccessary, but speeds the process up lots.

    Yea you're good with those. I think it's Feb 09' when you need a passport. Just be as vague as you can when crossing, they usually don't give a fuck.

    crossing from Canada into the USA requires a passport if you are a Canadian not sure if you need one if you're from the States.

    Just a family practice MD will do. He can refer you to a specialist if need be :)

    And just your drivers license and birth certificate is fine.
