    This is my first time hearing of these islands..... but I already new about the insane economic boom going on there and the amazing things being built.

    i remember watching a program on the these islands 6 monthes ago on national geographic

    they are buiding 3 of these "palm" shaped islands...also with "the world"

    they are also planning on building the tallest buidling inthe world and also the biggest mall in the world......any questions about dubai.....contact me:)

    this isnt new news.....

    Biggest waterfront in the world, Space Science World, Dubailand, Underwater hotel (hydropolis), Burj Dubai, one of the biggest marinas in the world, Dubai Ski Dome, etc, etc, etc

    In dubai they also have built the worlds largest indoor ski resort..........and it's in the middle of the desert 90 degree desert.
