  1. So I quit a job yesterday and our admin wiped the work stuff fro my VZ BBerry.

Now of course I can do everything with it but can't access the internet.

"Unable to connect to selected mobile data service. Please contact your administrator. " is the error msg

I contacted the admin and he said he had no idea. Anybody know how to reset the browser from the ex-job to something else?
  2. lol @ blackberries
  3. try dropping it really hard to the point where it would be cheaper to buy a new phone than to fix this one. then get a Droid.

  5. 1) Register HRT
    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now

    2) Resend Service Books
    • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    3) Batt Pull Reboot
    • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
  6. Thanks for the effort. That didn't work though.

  7. As much as I hate going into my Sprint store, I would go there and seem if I could get lucky and not get one of their dumbass customer service people to fix it.
  8. Go to "Manage Connections" and "Mobile Network Options"...play around in there.
Network Selection Mode should be Automatic. Data Services On.

If that's not it, I'd call your provider and ask them to reset the phone.
