Anyone know of any good DVD rip programs? Thanks.
-
dvd shrink. It is pretty user friendly and 100% free.
-
What exactly are you trying to do...copy dvds, put together videos?
-
Steal movies that I get from Netflix
-
The programs that I use are dvd x-copy platinum and DVD Santa. They are the only 2 programs I have needed. That and Nero for video games and you are set to make back up of the games or movies that you own and have purchased legally from the store :)

does any1 use a newsgroup to get movies music software etc.???? cost me like 155 for a yr...unliminted downloads....have over 2k movies as of right now...and i use nero to burn...using a newsgroup is prolly cheaper than netflix or anything else u can do.

Never heard of them, what is the exact site? Asuming newsgroup.com??

I use a torrent program...download from iptorrents.com and torrentspy.com most of the time, as well as sites such as mininova.org and demonoid.com.
Completely free, although iptorrents requires you upload back or they will ban you, but iptorrents is incredibly fast.
Almost all are in divx/xvid format and i have a divx compatible dvd player so i just burn straight to a dvd-r so no change of format is necessarry (divx is like a compressed video file...just as an mp3 is a compressed sound file).
You can actually fit 4-5 dvds on one disc if you'd like.
I have more dvds than you can count. -
torrentspy.com and mininova.org is the shit.
I actually just got a easy to use program. Thanks guys. -
check out iptorrents.com....quite a bit faster and typically better releases
