    Better chance now with that homo out. He just causes trouble more than helping. McNabb don't throw the ball his way anyhow, now he can spread the ball out more. I can't believe how many times he threw it at TO's feet last week.

    Also, if this season is getting away from them (they still may make playoffs), they can start making plans for life without TO.

    A healthy Donovan, a few key draft picks, some free agents maneuvers and they can be right back in Super Bowl.

    i like TO, i appreciate a guy thats truly honest. He also has some legimate gripe with the eagles....he's getting scammed with the way the NFL works contracts. I will bet my life they cut him before he gets his huge roster bonus next yr. Backloaded contracts in football=screw jobs

    He chose to go to Philly and he knew exactly what he was signing (for less money) when he decided to fuck the Ravens and go to Philly. Karma is a bitch, and TO is getting his now. Nothing but garbage off the field that affects the entire team. And those millions that were "only from his signing bonus" is the only guaranteed money you get in the NFL, so he did well there.

    I'd be pissed too if I was getting paid millions of dollars to do a job that millions of people would give their left nut to do for 1/100 of my salary. Oh wait, that would make me a greedy asshole.

    the first three years of his deal makes him the 3rd highest paid receiver in the NFL over that time, behind only Marvin Harrison and Moss. Now, because he's a horse's ass, he won't get that third year. So poor T.O will only collect the 660k base salary from last year, the 8.5 million dollar signing bonus plus other 'earned' bonuses from last year, totaling a cool 9.16 million for his work in 2004. Then this year he gets 3.5 and was complaining because he wanted more, even though all he had to do was keep his mouth shit and he'd collect another 11ish million next year. Now, because he has run himself completely out of town, he won't get the 7.5 mill roster bonus on march 2nd and his salary for next year. The Eagles do not, I repeat, do not release guys that are under contract unless they are causing problems. Two recent examples are Derrick Burgess and DT Hollis Thomas. Burgess had a great year last year after having season ending injuries back to back seasons in training camp, and have kept Hollis thomas in spite of him also having back to back season ending injuries.

    The NFL's contracts are what they are. The players have a union that agreed to this format. Not only that, but word is that the NBA players don't like when guys that are getting 11 million a year are eating up 20% of the cap space and NOT on the team.

    I give the eagles plenty of shit in these threads , you know , cause of the hatred I have for them .......... but one thing I always admired about the eagles was that win or lose -- they always play like a team. There is a lot of unity and guys play for each other ...... but then you have someone so selfish that it really brings down the morale , etc.

    Seriously guys, it's taking you this long to realize that TO is a cancer to whatever team he is on? That's why I've stated numerous times that he isn't a top 3 WR in the NFL. YOu gotta take lots of different factors into consideration. Sure, he catches TD's like nobody's business but when he does nothing but bitch and complain, dop stupid shit like workout in his driveway, verbally assault McNabb, wear a fucking Irvin jersey at a press conference in Dallas, say he doesn't need to play for Philly, get's kicked out of training camp for a week, etc. etc.........the result is that we have probably seen the last of TO in Philly. Nice pickup, Eagles, glad it worked out. Now move on to your next team and go ruin their chances of success too. You'd make a GREAT fit in Minnesota.
