Michigan +4.5 at home against ND
USC -5.5 at OSU
Tenn -8 at home against UCLA -
disagree.. ND is a huge bet.. USC even huuugger!
-
I was very surprised by Michigan's team speed yesterday, regardless of the opponent being W.Mich.
-
This is not so much a bet for Tenn as it is against UCLA. UCLA (and many other Pac 10 teams) have a MISERABLE history traveling east of the Miss. I remember in the 90s decent UCLA teams lost by 4 TDs at both OSU and Mich. Look at Cal last year against Maryland, or a couple years ago Oregon St at Cincinnati (31-3 I think?). These teams just do not play well unless they are USC with top 5 talent. No matter how mediocre Tenn is, they win this game easy.
-
Unless you actually watched the majority of the Mich game (which I doubt you did), you have no basis on which to make this statement. Not to mention the fact that you are making a huge mistake IMO, but that's up to you.
-
I do remember it, how you tried to tell me how great BYU was. They fucking sucked, they nearly lost to winless Washington and got blown off the field by TCU, Utah, and then were completely owned by Arizona in a bowl game. So what exacly is your point?
-
His point is that BYU should be gifted a spot in the Nat. title game because they beat Oklahoma's second string QB
-
Treads Michigan pick = last weeks oregon pick
100% agree with your Vols pick though.. Pac 10 travels horrible.. When Cal was good they got smashed there, Maryland accant travel. Okie St couldnt travel there. Oregon St was the only one that did decent besides USC from what i can remember. Tenn defense is strong enough to put UCLA down easy -
I like ND and USC myself....
Didn't see a lot of the Michigan game, but what I did see, their QB doesn't look good, but I have no idea on thier defense... Claussen looked great, and Weis is the better coach (Lol how did this happen)
Edit: There are some unreal NFL lines that I'm gonna lay the wood on, in no ranking order:
Philly -1 @ Carolina
Vikings -3.5 @ Cleveland
Baltimore -10.5 vs KC (Going to buy it down to -10 -120 more than likely)
Saints -13 @ Detroit
Dallas -4 @ Tampa (Smaller play, but I still love this line)
Green Bay -3.5 vs Chicago
New England -10.5 vs Buffalo (MNF) -
absolutely love the first 2. give me da Bears and the points at home plz

I love New England line though -
Pitt is my best bet of the week (prob just jinxed myself).. super bowl champ always wins their opener the next year.. plus im sure Pitt is going to have no mercy because of that whole towel stomping incident from last year still. Lastly, Pitt is healthy and prob the best team in the NFL.
i also love the vikings line, not sure why its so low.. If Brady is QB, cleveland is superfucked. -
Packers are at home, Sunday night game on NBC
-
You're right, Detroit is on the road.
Lots of chalk for sure, but of those lines, I think Dallas is the scariest. GB should win by 10 or so, and the rest are unreal imo. -
i agree that Dallas line looks suspicious. Vegas knowsss something
-
I mean, its pretty simple. Tampa at home, tampa can run the ball and tampa stops the run.
Im sure Dal will win, but thats the reasoning for the tricky looking line

That line looks suspicious? They are favored on the road by 5.5 against a terrible team with no shot at having a competent QB playing in the game. Should they be 10 plus? I would not go big time on the game especially with O/U where it is but I would not be surprised at a 23-0 shutout.
Patriots might lose let alone cover and Philly is not as good as people think.
I will be betting on Cincy, Buffalo, Dallas, G.B. and Balt this week. Probably Tennessee as well. GL All.
My locks of the week are Buffalo plus 10.5 and G.B. first half.
If you like Baltimore at all then take them first half too. It will be less than 7 more than likely. -
that viking line looks like a winner IMO.
-
I can see the USC line being probably like at least -7 / 7.5 by kickoff...
-
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see 7. I don't think it will go to 7.5 but you never know. I made a huge bet on OSU last year @USC and they got fucking smoked from jump. LOL at USC losing to OSU outright a few weeks later.... (Oregon State)

You never know how a game will play out. If Ohio States running back didn't run like a pussy in the 4th quarter vs. Navy yesterday they might cover 21.5. Maybe he was doing a booster a favor.... -
Michigan looked really good Saturday....West Mich is a decent team, with a talented QB, who should beat Indiana this week. Nevada shot themselves in the foot a lot on offense and there secondary was awful as expected.....Michigan wins outright, and USC rolls OSU again...and again....and again.....on a sad note, my wife wants me to go tailgate the UNLV/Ore St game with a bunch of her friends so I won't be able to watch the USC/OSU game
-
Go Bears! ;)

USC jumped up to -7 and ND down to 3 and a hook already.....still like both of them along with Philly -1 and Vikes -4
-
i dont get how vikes -4 cant be a lock.. What has cleveland done to have anyone think this is gonna be a close one.. is there something im missing.. Vikings D is made for a Quinn.. no way he handles the pressure (assuming hes the starter)
-
my thoughts exactly....it's one of those lines where you it's to good to be true....Vikes D is nice...the O got better with Percy Harvin and Favre, the only downside is it's a road game........it's almost like last years opener vs Dallas.....and Dallas ran away with it
