easy $250

    this was posted on slickdeals about a month ago, and i guess chase is running the deal again. in a nutshell, sign up for this chase card, make 1 purchase for any amount and they give you a check for $250

    i signed up last month and got my $250 check before my first statement was even due. too easy.

    *note, this is a horrible deal if you don't pay off your balance or have no self control and may run up a credit card beyond your means.. this card has a <span>horrible </span>apr. it's a decent rewards card, so if you pay off your balance every month in full then you could use it for more rewards beyond the initial $250.. otherwise, make 1 purchase.. get your check, pay off the balance, shred the card, but keep the account open.

    *edit. it sounds like sometimes chase doesn't load up the offer. if your screen doesn't look like this:

    , close the page and clear your cookies. a lot of people are saying IE works better for this.
