  1. I'm looking for an item that is easy to prepare, doesnt need to be particularly hot, and will go reasonably well with pepperoni bread.....help?

FYI, I am not much of a cook but will try my best....this is for a drive in movie so it should be pretty easy to eat

    Maybe an easy desert?

  2. fresh mozz tomato and basil drizzle with vinagrette.

  3. easy finger dessert-

1 pack of vanilla oreos, 1 box of cream cheese, bottle of chocolate syrup and toothpicks....
put oreos and creme cheese in a blender (gotta do it like 1/4 at a time)... get it all done itll be like a pudding/pie filling look... make them into little balls and put a toothpick in em... empty the chcolate syrup in a bowl and dip the balls in the syrups and then place on cookie sheet and freeze em.

Edit: put wax paper on cookie sheet so it dosent stick

  5. grill some shrimp..
  6. Yeah that shit will be awesome with pepperoni bread. Especially the chocolate sauce.
  7. I like to take a hot pocket and cook it. Then cut it into 8 even squares and then stick toothpicks in them. Put them on a platter with a piece of parsley and it's like you're a gourmet chef.
  8. prociutto on melon slices

    delicious and highly nutritive
  9. A bag of frozen meatballs, and a bottle of Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. Warm it all up and set out a cute little toothpick holder with toothpicks to pick them up.

    Done deal.

    yum.

    or deviled eggs

just boil, shell, cut in half, take out yolk and mix with mayonaise and a lil S&P, stuff back in egg white halves, sprinkle lightly with paprike. glglgl
  11. Roasted Basil Tomatoes. Get 12 roma (plum) tomatoes and seed them (but leave the cores). Drizzle them with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, a little sugar, salt and pepper. Roast them for 25-30 minutes at 450 degrees. Goes great with bread and can be served warmed or at room temparature.

lose the melon, add a toothpick, and I'm tossing out compliments like I fucked your wife and I'm nervous that you will find out.

That oreo/cream cheese deal sounds great. The lesson here is put a toothpick in anything you are going to serve. People don't talk shit about food with toothpicks in it.
