Anytime now would be great...anything that would stop annoying Underdog34 posts would be fantastic...
Please post here if you wish this was all over...Underdog34 makes me want to vote non-Democrat alone..just because I'm tired of all the god damn stupid ass threads.
To the Admins: Please make a Political Forum (non-poker) so that I don't have to read this shit all day. Jan 1st, 2009 you can close the forum and re-open OT to such discussions, but I'm tired of this daily bullshit.
Seriously, this shit is getting out of hand. I could care god damn less about this election and it's simply because of people like Underdog34. He simply makes us all want to kill ourselves and makes us care about nothing but ending this election ASAP.
At this point, I don't care if fucking Daffy Duck wins the God damn election, as long as I don't have to deal with UD34 posts about anything.
*here's to wishing it was December*
abide. folks. now. -
cosign!!
P.S. FUCK OBAMA -
maybe you could just hide the threads.
my prediction: after the election, posts in ot will drop -
Please, after the election the threads will just be bitching about whatever mistake Obama or McCain has made as president. Haha, just kidding, it will be Obama.
And you do realize the election is in November and not December?
BTW, Underdog is cool. I'm CptTripps and I approve this message. -
eat rocks OP
-
I can't wait until December because the election will be very well over. But thanks for playing moron.

Very well over? So exactly which day will it go from being over to very well over? And why will it be very well over before the winner is even inaugurated?
-
For real, there's this thing called not clicking a link dealing with a political topic if you don't want to read it. Amazing.
(Oh and both McCain and Obama would be equally as bad. Lol @ anyone who thinks otherwise) -
I don't believe you. I just don't. I know you think I'm annoying and maybe some of the Republicans are annoying too, but I just don't believe you when you say that you are going to vote out of spite.

I think you, like most Americans and like most OTers, will enter the voting booth and you will vote for who you think will do the best job, or at least do the least harm.
That may turn out to be a third candidate or it might be John McCain or it might even be Barack Obama. But I refuse to believe that anyone is going to go into a voting booth to use their sacred right to cast a vote and think to themselves, "Underdog34 is fucking annoying. Who does he like? I'm voting for the other guy."
It just won't happen. Iraqis stood in line for hours like slow moving targets to cast their votes, literally risking their lives to get their purple fingers because they were so happy to be able to cast a vote. And you expect me to believe that you would take that right for granted and cast a vote out of spite?
I don't believe it. I think better of you. -
Actually, the fact is that most of the people on this forum who get in such heated debates over their candidate of choice probably won't even go to the polls to vote in the first place when it comes down to it.

I for one dont mind all the threads. Its nice to see some people still get into politics.
The vast majority of americans dont. Most americans now dont even really pay attention to the election until it gets closer to Nov, and sadly it will come down to who can get more dirt on the other, and who has the better sound bites. Not who has the better plans.
So few Americans read and study the election. I really feel there needs to be a test before you can vote. Just like a drivers license. You have to know basic knowledge about how our government works, what the pres can and cant do. Along with how elections work and what some terms mean.
Of course if we go to testing. Even less people will vote. We are a sad sad country when it comes to voter turn out. We just brake 50% but that takes presidential elections to do that. If its just a regular election for other things. Sad just sad.
