  1. Not asking who is better.

Suppose Brady s career ended after yesterdays game. If you could have either ones career would you take:

Elway .- Lost his first 3 Superbowl's (blowouts) to win the last 2 on his last 2 seasons

    or

Brady .- Won 3 early and lost 2 heart breakers late

Gisele doesn't count for the argument either.

    So OT WUG?
  2. Don't think it matters when u won or lost when u look back at the career and #'s are the same. I will say that Elway was a better QB and if Elway was coached by Belichek that he would've had at least 1 more SB. I could also say that if Brady ever had a RB like Terrell Davis that he might have 99 more super bowls

    & Gisele counts!

  3. Pretty hard to do a compare and contrast when Brady's book ain't over yet.
  4. Montana
  5. Brady and its not even close
  6. Elway aniec
  7. Montana
  8. Id have to go with Brady.
  9. Montana
  10. Brady

  11. Elway does not compare with Brady.
  12. So your choices are between 3/5, or 2/5?

    Uh....what? Pretty sure I'll take 3.
  13. Elway

  15. How great would it be to go out with back to back wins.

Work your entire career for one goal, get so close so many times and then finally do it twice and retire. I think I'm taking Elway as long as we are strictly talking football and not the whole Gisele thing, but I think his scenario is the only way I would take 2 over 3.

    Plus I'm from Colorado.
  16. what was Elway's career TD/Int ratio?

    brady
  17. Look at that win % for Brady, it is regronkulious.

  19. brady

you can always throw the "elway couldn't do it with terrell davis" card @ elway. you can't do that for brady.

  20. Brady imo... but the best thing I learned from Zep's post is that David Carr has lost 20 more starts than Tom Brady. With 101 fewer wins...

Also TD should be in the "Koufax" wing of Canton. With Sterling Sharpe and Bo Jackson. Studs whose careers didn't have longevity but whose stars burned brighter than most HOFers at their peaks...

  21. Dude the season just ended literally last night. how about we take a break from the hypothetical football questions. Is this some burning question anyway? There is no right answer here. Not sure what one could really gain from this.

  23. i don't think coaches are weighted the same way. brady was still the best player on the field, and i'm not so sure elway was.

plus, by that logic, you could say elway never won without shanahan, and montana never won without walsh.

BUT BIG BEN WON WITH BOTH COWHER AND TOMLIN

    CHAMP!

I know the logic isn't sound, I was just fucking around. But seriously Elway dealt with Wade Phillips and Dan Reeves as well as Shanahan. If he had a HOF coach throughout his career it might have been more than 2 Super Bowls
  25. I take brady. Brady has a top notch gm.
Plus that year where half the patriots team were scrubs filling in for injured stars all year brady brought them together and made them better. He was seriously the only really good player left. (Kinda what peyton mannings been doing too but nobody noticed until he was gone. But at least he had reggie wayne.)

Its hard to say what elway couldve done with more talent in many of those years tbh. I just compare what brady did with zippppp and it makes it easier. I wonder what brady couldve done with those broncos.

Brady couldn't have done it without Belichick?

I mean you pick either and have a good argument, but to say one or the other followed by ainec is pretty ridiculous

    I take Brady
