Have any of you ever had an epic fight with a girlfriend/wife in which the relationship was changed forever.... I'm talking instances where you stayed with your significant other and were able to make up after the fight, but something that was said most certainly lingers on for eternity?

I'll answer seriously. Yes.
My ex and I had been married for around 15 years, and had a massive blowout. It was bad enough that we ended up outside, I was trying to get in my car, and he blocked me in, so I couldn't leave. Now I am a redhead, and have a wicked temper, i'll admit it. But i am not voilent. The idea of running him over did cross my mind, instead I called the cops. It was ugly.
After I told him the only way i'd stay with him is if we went to counseling, which we did for a yearish. The problem was the trust was destroyed, and we ended up splitting up shortly after we ended counseling. -

It's never that bad if the feelings remain the same unless someone gets hit or trust is broken. Eveen if you say something very hurtful, it can usually be forgiven.

I once knew a girl from Ohio we were fighting she punched me andthen she told me to leave then she kept blocking the door and wouldt let me leave then when i moved her she chased me downstairs and stood behind the truck so i locked it in 4x4 and ran over the bushes just so I could get away from her then she told everybody i was mean to her
We didnt get along too well anymore after that
I miss her sometimes -
