OT!
Edited By: Etrain99 Apr 29th, 2011 at 07:19 PM
It has been about a year since I last frequented these forums but a lot has happened since then. Many of you will remember me and I certaintly remember a lot of you so I hope to catch up on here. I will keep this short but give a good update for those interested. This time last year I decided to step away from poker to pursue new things that would take me in a new direction. I applied for graduate school and got in and started my masters program for Sports Managment this past January and it has been great so far. I also picked up a concert security job last summer and worked security for al the big artists you can think of from Usher, Nickelback, Roger Waters to Lady Gaga (who I even saw naked). I recently just landed a job at Gold's Gym as an sales rep. However, the biggest transformation I made was going from a skinny 155lb poker player to a competitive natural bodybuilder. The poker lifestyle turned me into something I didn't like mentaly and physicaly and I needed a serious change. I decided to leave behind my sleepless nights at the tables and garbage eating habbits because of the poker lifestyle and pursue a 7-8 timed meals a day all planned out perfectly with 5-6 intense training sessions a week. I havn't drank in a year and am more focused than ever. I will be hitting the stage for my first show in 8 weeks and am very excited. I know I have been gone for a long time but I look to get back into OT and have some fun. I just wanted to share my story with you briefly and give an update.
There are too many people I want to know about on here but special shoutouts to LordSupremo, KaceyGCP, Jroth and Goofy. Also, is WAR still .. well WAR?

is it true that steroids make ur balls smaller?
-
sweet ink
but seriously thats a pretty impressive transformation in a years time. gl with the show. -
Roids?
-
welcome back dude.
you look best at 5 months IMO, but I guess since you're body building you gotta keep going... impressive stuff
is this all natural? what supplements did/do you take? -
To everyone asking about roids that is a negative. I am competing as a natural where I get tested at the show. If I were on gear I would be about 20-30lbs bigger. I only got as big as 202 in my bulk which is still small for a bodybuilder.
-
So what did you take?
-
Thanks bro how you been I want an update. I was probably most comftorable at 5-8 months when I was holding fat so I agree with you. However I have to step on stage at 5% bf so no visible fat can be there. I am all natural and get tested. I only use protein, a pre workout stimulant and BCAAs.

Awesome job. Sick prank someone played on you with that back tattoo, though.

Really? That's interesting for sure. One thing I have learned being in the bodybuilding world is that my idea of a better body may differ very much from other people's idea of a good body. It is definitely all preference for sure. -
Haha whats up man.
Definitely an impressive building of your body, congrats.

Edited By: Etrain99 Apr 29th, 2011 at 07:51 PMMy man! How you been? I still remember the thread where you turned 21 and took a picture of your first legal beer with your girlfriend. I wish I had a pic of Gaga naked but I would have been fired on the spot if I did that. Very cool stories about that and other artists though which I am sure will come out as I spend more time on here.Originally Posted by Lord Supremo

Always possible for anything you put your mind to man! A big reason I posted this was to show possibilities of what you can do especially with your body coming from such a difficult and stressful lifestyle that a lot of guys on here lead playing poker which I did myself. I'll keep it very brief as what I did to do accomplish this but if you want specifics shoot me a pm and I will answer everything. First, I ate on average 7 meals a day (5 food meals and 2 shakes) and eventualy upped it to 8 meals as I got bigger. MY diet was planned out and took effort. I trained 5 days a week with 2 rest days but intense. I never missed a workout in 15 months and train to death in the gym. I stopped drinking for optimal results and just did research and learne as much as I can. Once I started my cut to shred all my fat I hired a coach who is a Mr. Olympia competitor and now I eat 4 meals a day all weighed out and super clean and do cardio twice a day with the same weight training routine. You don't have to be nearly as specific as I am to get good results tho. I do what I do for the best possible results as quick as possible. Again tho shoot me a pm if you want specifics. -
welcome back. lady gaga story now pls
-
I started out about 3500 cals a day and as I got bigger upped my caloric intake to 4000cals on average. My basic macro breakdown was 50% protein/35% carbs/15% fats. This was all during my bulk phase. Now that I am in contest prep it is a whole other ballgame. I have to shred all my visible fat and keep my muscle so I am at around 2500cals a day with 4 food meals and 2 shakes. It is a high protein low/med carb and extremely little fat diet. I'm not sure of the breakdown for this diet since I just took my coaches diet but I would say 65% protein/25% carb/10% fat.
-
Going on the diet/meals part, what type of foods did you eat? I'm assuming fast food was thrown out the window.
-
which? i have taken everything under the sun and am currently on a Gaspari SuperPump250 kick... curious to know which pre workout stimulant you like?!?

So does Gaga have a penis or...?
-
You ever feel like your body has become immune to the pre-workout stimulant? I've been taking pre-stuff for like 8 months (switched up what I took halfway through) and starting next week I think I'm just gonna take protein pre-workout. What type of protein blends are you taking? I've been taking straight whey post-work and a cassein/whey shake before bed. Nice results man, keep it up and gl.

Just saying, nothing wrong with you in that pic. In general I think smaller dudes tend to be too hard on themselves. That said I hit 6''1' 180 in high school and never had a problem putting on muscle, so maybe it is different. In term of competitive BB tho, you definitely look better now

I'm not trying to put you down, and I don't judge you personally, but......
There are obviously steroids involved in that transformation. The fact that you compete in 'natural' competitions where you are tested before hand doesn't mean anything.
Just don't over do it and don't lie to yourself and you'll be O.K. -
