  1. I've started following soccer more and more over the last few years. But there are certain things I come across that I don't understand. Here's a link to todays main headline on espn's soccer page. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...35&cc=5901
Why does all of europe hate england so much?
  2. "Warner, from Trinidad and Tobago,"

He's just a gobshite motherfucker who is in absolutely no position to speak for how Europe feels towards England. Take his comments with a pinch of salt, he is just trying to make a name for himself with this slander.

Also note that he plays the race card at the bottom. This should summize the type of man he is.

  3. thank god for fox sports soccer

  4. Every country in the world that make it to the world cup manage to enjoy the occasion. After months of media spin and re-runs of 1966 the English fans go there expecting to win the damn thing .3 days of alcohol and an embarrassing 0-0 with a so called lesser nation later said England fan is on the warpath. other nations party together despite the result, the English decide that if u cant beat them onn the pitch u should beat them up on the streets.
Hence, other nations cringe when they are drawn against them, they cant lose graciously.
  5. I honestly have no idea where this nobody in Europe likes England BS is coming from to be honest. The guy sounds like an absolute assclown, which as he is employed by FIFA is only to be expected.

The only reason I can think of is that our fans are not the best behaved in the world, but then he mentions Spain and Italy as his European choices, and they're fans along with the dutch, are probably the most violent and racist in Europe. Perhaps he should try visiting the Bernabeu and be subjected to continuous monkey noises just because he is black and then we'll so how great he thinks the Spanish are.

As for us being so unpopular it's strange that the German legend Franz Beckenbauer has supported our bid for the World Cup!
  6. ^^LOL at scottish bitterness.

I knew before I clicked on his profile where he was from.

Nothing wrong with a bit of secretarian football hooliganism though is there?

  8. Loooooool @ secretarian football hooliganism murd. Does that consist of arguing over who's the best at shorthand!
  9. May aswell do.

    Scottish cunts.

  10. true that
  11. F Jack Warner
  12. English fans are hated because they are an unbelievably arrogant bunch. Despite the size of their country and their huge player base they have achieved little except for winning the world cup in 1966 with the help of a goal that didn't cross the line.

Every major tournament they expect to win, they constantly claim their players as the best in the world despite being outclassed by countries with lesser player pools but more talent.

Also their fans go abroad and generally (although its been better recently) cause mayhem and chaos. Constantly clashing with police, rioting and fighting in the streets.

I work in a bar and although I cannot really generalize from just two examples I am still gonna.

Twice I have had the gross misfortune of working when a group of more than 10 english football fans who were there for a stag do or something, came in to watch the football. Once during Euro 04, and once about 5 months later for a qualifier game.

I have never in my life have to deal with such a vile, arrogant, scumbaggy bunch such as this. Completely rude to everyone, arguing with barstaff constantly about the stupidest things when they were completely in the wrong, pissing in pint glasses no joke. Demanding pints of 'bitter' when nowhere in the country sells them. Trying to bring their own cans of beer in and getting violent when they are told where to go. Fighting with the locals, including my friend who has still to this day been in only one fight in his life, with one of these utter wankers, just to show how unprovoked it all was.

Whilst this is the minority (arguably), its still a larger cross section of english football fans than those from any other country in Europe.
  13. ^^ Wow, why did you write all that stuff that i didn't read. Football is a 'Lesser sport' i hate the fact that all British Newspapers will have 6 back pages of coverage over the next 8 months. Football is GASH, GASH , GASH...
  14. You like rugby? We can give you more than a game!
  15. "Whilst this is the minority (arguably), its still a larger cross section of english football fans than those from any other country in Europe."

This is wrong. I could list off at least 10 countries who's fans are worse than the English, certainly in the last 10-20 years. - the most notable being Turkey and Italian, not to mention most of the balkan states. If we are including club football then I can also include the dutch, the spanish and the German.

England has the led the world in combatting hooliganism and has also been probably the most successful at eradicating racism (for the most part) by its fans.

  16. Was it last season that an Italian fan was murdered and they stopped the season for a short time?

Also, didn't Eto of Barcelona almost leave the field, mid-game, because of racist chants?

Just general questions, not trying to "stir the pot."
  17. It was an italian police officer who was killed by the Italian fans. And yes, Racist chanting in spain has been on the increase - which isnt suprising when their national manager was caught on video calling Thierry Henry a "black nigger shit" (or something to that effect) and neither the spanish FA or UEFA did alot to punish him.

Dont get me wrong, if you're going back to the 70's and early 80's England were by far the worst fans in the world when it came to hooliganism. But as I said above, no country has done more to clean up its act and get rid of the troublesom fans.

By the way, I used to run a bar and if I generalised about the Irish nation based on a tiny sample size of those I met in my time there - then I would assume that Theconartist was an alcoholic, thieving pikey scumbag tarmaccer with a chip on his shoulder the size of a baboon.... but as I'm not an idiot, I dont presume to generalise this about him and his countryfolk based on a sample size so insignificant that I would feel like a complete idiot to even use it.
