i think germany and spain are a bit short at 3/1 so ive backed holland at 7/1 100pound ew and 100 at 9/1 for a germany/holland final, ive placed 2 £50 bets on topscorers ive backed huntelaar at 16/1 and klose at 14/1 and i also backed france to win their group £200 at 6/4

Huntelaar is NOT a good bet for top scorer. Hard to put it in the net when you're on the bench to start the game. You better hope van Persie gets hurt, or you wasted your $$$. Klose? Not Podolski? Was it just the odds?
-
i think theyll play both, huntellars on fire and was the top goalscorer in qualifiers so why wouldnt they play him, van persie dont exactly set the world alight for the international team does he , dont know what you mean referring to klose but hes also on fire.
-
I don't see how they start Huntelaar . . . van Persie in the middle, flanked by Robben and Affelay, Sneijder is withdrawn to provide service, while van Bommel and De Jong mind the store in front of a dubious back line. Steckelenburg is going to be overworked in the net, but everyoine already knew that.
-
When I see Portugal I think under everytime. Odds dont look like anything special though. Portugal plays a real defensive style. They'll play slightly dirty. Lay on the ground for a couple minutes to waste time. They'll argue with the ref just to waste a couple extra seconds. Pretty much anything they can do that will waste any amount of time they'll do. Against a team like Germany they're gonna play so defensive. They'll probably just throw their whole team in the back and let Ronaldo sit up front. They'll hope to get one on the counter but for the most part they'll just lay back and hope to finish 0-0. Of course if Germany puts one in early they'll be forced to open up. You'd be surprised though by how a team in these tournies can go down a goal and they still dont open up and try to equalize. They'll stick with the gameplan and then try and get one back in like the last 10 minutes.
-
cant see how they can leave him out look at both players international form, we'll soon see if its a bad bet, ive put my money down ive gambled and thats what its all about, van persie is 7/1 co fav do you want to do a eve money wager that huntelaar will get more goals 100dollars each double or nothing.

They're short because one of them will most likely win, (prob Germany).
-
Hedging already? LOL . . . Sorry, no. Not about to back up my ramblings with cash.

thanks. +1 to your first sentence. altho i've typically dabbled with their league only for a random parlay filler (dutch + french too), under was the majority of my bets. i'll throw in the under somewhere.

You guys forgot to make the **official euro thread**
LOL at france being a lock for anything, heres hoping ukraine and poland both can advance. -
Lewandowski first scorer 1-0 at 20s is prob going to be my only bet of the day. Might go big on Poland but im not sure yet
-
thats a nice bet, hes a class player, i was thinking of lumping on poland but i keep having flashbacks of when greece parked the bus infront of goal every match to win the 2004 euros, stubborn buggars ;) they should edge it tho
