Denmark could wrap up this group tonight. Can really see them beating Portugal. Especially with the best striker in the world, super Nicklas Bendtner. Think that the other game could well be a draw. Neither team can really afford to lose so i think it could be a tight game. Depends how the first game ends up though. If Denmark win then this is basically a KO game and Holland will have to win.

I would want the results to be a portugal win and a draw so that this group goes down to the final game like group a

Meh I think Denmark vs Portugal will either be a draw or Portugal will win by 1 goal.

Germany vs Netherlands should be an interesting game, maybe 2-1 to Germany I'm not sure. I'm looking forward to this game probably the most, I hope it won't be a let-down.

Ive watched denmark played like 2-3 times in the past 3 years... in the '10 World Cup and last week in their opening games and they've really impressed me both times. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see them pull a result here.

Sucks to have to use the one time for Holland so early. Please beat the Krauts. Please. I don't give a fuck if you guys hate each other, there's just too much talent up top not to put 2 or 3 in per game. Plus, you don't need D, you just let Van Bommel and De Jong take care of things... maybe give one of these to Ozil or Schweinsteiger and take it from there...



Obviously terrified that my boys peter out with nary a whimper this tournament as the Germans might be the best side out there, but hoping to rely on bullshit statistical analysis of laughably small sample sizes... like the only time the Dutch ever lost their opener in Euros was 1988. Obv they won every game from there and spiked the tourney. The Germans are also pretty fantastic at winning the first game, losing the second, then going on a run. Like last WC. Those are both ok with me.

Also would like to see Portugal win so the Dutchies chances are maximized. They'll beat Portugal at least, so they need one tonight...

Haven't seen anything impressive from Denmark tbh. Holland should of buried like 4-5 in the opening game if they had any finishing touch and Portugal is smoking them.

I think that the victory vs Holland caused people to hugely overrate Denmark. Denmark is a defensive team that seems most likely to score from set pieces. The win vs Holland was a fluke and mostly due to Holland not being able to finish. When Denmark falls behind, they have trouble exerting any kind of pressure.

Not too crazy thinking Denmark would win this, they finished ahead of Portugal in qualifying for the tournament, they beat the dutch earlier who are a better team than Portugal, and Portugal had some internal trouble with Ronaldo causing drama off the field. Lets be honest, the win over Holland was a complete fluke. Bad goal-keeping and Holland completely dominated that game.

^ Even discounting the last game, Denmark are still on good form, we can't count them out. Although Portugal are playing better atm. Denmark could still get a bit of luck and score, they have the ability to score given the opportunity (Bendtner and Rommedahl).

was definitely fortunate, but they still showed some poise to be able to hold defensively and get a goal. They're a pretty decent side, I think UEFA has them ranked as the 9th best team in the world...
