Just saw a delicious rumour that I hope is true. Bert van Marwijk resigned on Tuesday as National Team coach. Rumour has it his replacement is former Barca skipper Pep Guardiola.

Can we just Fedex the World Cup trophy to the Netherlands? Do we have to wait two whole years. LOL

Could be wrong, but I can't see this happening. While I think he would enjoy the more laid back atmosphere of being an international coach, I genuinely think he wants some time off. Grant Wahl (SI soccer writer) said on twitter that Pep had bought/leased a place in NYC for him and his family to enjoy some time away form the spotlight.

I think Pep's a great coach, but, I think his value to Barcelona has been overstated a bit.

Pep resigns, but who would you say is the favorite for the Champions League / La Liga next year? I think it's gotta be Barcelona...

To be fair to Schteve, he does speak Dutch (iirc), once you learn a language, it's inflections tend to influence you somewhat. I speak a little Dutch and, if I have to use it with my relatives for any length, I find my English to be accented for a day or so.
