This is the first politician I have heard in recent memory who seems to be honest and tells it like it is... we need someone like this to set this country straight.

Ehh, maybe. I'll probably just vote for Jerry Garcia again
-
Sounds like a real maverick. John McCain used to be like that until he realized that you can't get nominated without bending over and spreading 'em nice and wide for your party.
-
I like what I've heard so far, but I also heard he's a global warming goof, so I dunno yet
-
It seems hes had an "I dont give a fuck im gonna try and fix this shithole" attitude, so far. I guess its working...
-
Looks like he's been supporting the fast food economy.
-
He's done more good than bad so far, but he's had a couple of snafus.

Reason: Oh yeah, what Moosebabies said: Jerry for Prez -
Major flaw in his arguement is this. First, he says, you should be grateful you have a job when 9% of people don't. So, by his logic, even with low unemployment (say 4%), then public workers still shouldn't get anything as they should be thankful for their job when 4% of the people don't have work. Are we at a point of high unemployment, yes. If you expect them to take a hit now, then you better reward them when unemployment goes down, but we all know that won't happen.
The second major flaw is his part on raises. Yes the raise is 2%, and yes he is right many in the private sector haven't gotten a raise in the past 2-3 years. However, go back 5 years ago when people in the private sector were getting 5-7% raises plus bonuses. So, where were these hefty raises for the public sector and bonuses? Oh they weren't there. -
he said to be grateful they had jobs when unemployment is this high. pretending he said no public worker should ever get anything unless the unemployment rate is 0 is just silly.
as for public workers not getting raises etc? lol -
I like gov. Christie
I like gov. Daniels too. -
I like that Bachmann chick
cant wait for 2012 Palin/Bachmann weeeaaaahooooo! -
sign him up. unfortunately, the public is too stupid to elect someone like this, b/c they can't face the reality of the situation. our country is going to be fucked unless we get people like this in office.
-
I voted for him.
-
whoa whoa whoa...did anyone actually read the article in the link???
look at the typo in the first sentence... lol -
Bachman may be a nice lady and all but the woman is pretty nuts. Also her and Palin is gonna be an either/or scenario and one of them is going to have to gracefully step aside for the other to run. As a liberal Minnesotan I'm actually really curious to see what might transpire if both Bachmann and the former Gov. Pawlenty run. (T Paw is like 98% running.)
