This lady is trying to run my life!! Ok i know i messed up and drove drunk. I accept all responsiblity. I just saw her today and she said that i can not drink at all again for the time i am on probation. And I do not want to face the consequenes if i do. This is where i have a problem, i can not just shut down my lifestyle because of one mistake.
Thoughts?
LET ME SPELL THIS OUT AS WELL (GO PATS12)
LET ME ALSO SAY THAT I WILL NEVER EVER DRINK AND DRIVE AGAIN. I WAS REFERING TO JUST CASUAL DRINKING WITH FRIENDS WITH NO INTENTIONS TO DRIVE. DIDN'T THINK I WOULD HAVE TO ACTUALLY LET PEOPLE KNOW THIS. "AND I GET CALLED AN IDIOT" -
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahah
Im sure she will be watching you 100% of the time, figure out how long it takes alcohol to get out of your blood/urine, I'm sure you don't report more than once a month. -
They HAVE to say that to you. Just do 2 things. 1) Don't report(I'll assume it's monthly) with any alcohol in you. 2) Don't get caught driving after drinking.
-
i can not just shut down my lifestyle because of one mistake.
So how about driving drunk and killing someone? Would that change your lifestyle??
Your an idiot! -
LOL f the judge and CO's and PO's and POPO's.
My PO back in the day was a str8 homo, I think he took the job just so he could watch guys pull their dicks out to piss in cups. F'em man what is she gonna do? follow u around 24/7 to make sure you dont drink? -

They have 72 hour breathalyzers in their office. So just make sure you do not drink anything in that amount of time. And also do not get in trouble at ALL. Even if its a speeding ticket they do not take anything lightly. GL
But i also agree with GoPats! -
If you are stupid enough to drink and drive, then it's probably best that you don't drink at all, for the rest of your life.
-
GoPats,
I can see your cause for rudeness, but like i said i made a mistake and no longer even consider driving while intoxicated. What i was refering to is having drinks with friends with NO intention to be driving. -
i know a lot of people that have gotten dui's and not one of them was assigned a PO. sounds like something else happened.
-
So you know for a fact that you wont drive if you have a few too many? See thats the problem with our society, we give too many 2nd chances. I just can't believe that your "pissed" that you can't drink after you got a DUI? Thats like saying a child molester is "pissed" that he can't hang around elementry schools
-
So what are you insinuating acp5533???
-
nothing in particular, just that something worse might of happenend besides you just getting pulled over after having 3 beers, so maybe you shouldn't be drinking.
-
Well considering the INTERLOCK SYSTEM that is installed in my car, i find it difficult to do drink and drive now.
thoughts? -
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? that was a little far fetched man. Not being able to drive makes sense but he made a mistake, he admits it was stupid but he didnt molest children man. Yes DUI is very very bad but come on man.
-
I had to report for a year for a(few) MIP's, so DUI will def. get you a PO.
-
Bigk No way in hell they have all ready put you on one of those breathalyzer machine in your car over 1 DUI. Unless you live in some podunk(s/p) town who have nothing better to do.
-
So you're asking us how to violate the conditions of your parole?
I guess it's like anything else - if you're willing to accept the consequences of getting caught, then go for it. But then it sounds like you haven't learned the lesson they're trying to teach you.
There is a rule in place, and you have to decide if you want to break it or not. You've had to make a similar decision in the past, you chose the wrong one, and now you're paying for it.
Wanna roll the dice twice?
We can't really help you with this.... -
maybe it varies from case to case, becuase my uncle and 2 friends that i know only had to do counseling and have their license suspended.
-
I am ashamed but i have had one and you DEF. have a PO. I have learned my lesson but i do hate that they giev so many 2nd chances on alot of cases.
-
"i can not just shut down my lifestyle because of one mistake."
Drinking is a lifestyle? Hmm. Never thought of it that way. Well, maybe just alter your "lifestyle" by not drinking during your probation.
After your probation is over you can go back to your drinking "lifestyle."
I'm sure that you can stop drinking for awhile, unless maybe your drinking is a .....problem. -
I do not know how to make it any clearer , I WILL NOT DRINK AND DRIVE EVERY AGAIN. But going out after a long hard week of work (50 plus hours engineering). Drink it up with friends, get a cab home and get in trouble for that?. F all yall who find something wrong in that.
-
I live in Austin Texas, and yes it is there trust me. Most annoying thing ever. New law , for first offenders the interlock will be required no questions ask.
-
There are people, when they are sober, will say that they won't drink and drink. But, it changes once they start drinking. Honestly, I won't drink unless I know I am going to be staying where I am drinking or someone is going to be driving home that hasn't been drinking. I will get a cab, if all else fails.
-
Good for them! And i hope its the one you have to blow in every 3 miles. GL and quit drinking.
-
Just a question. If this is your "moto" now why did you not choose to do this on that lonely night?
-
Man, settle down already. Have a drink and relax.
-
"Drink it up with friends, get a cab home and get in trouble for that?. F all yall who find something wrong in that."
You make the mistake, you have to deal with the consequences, and one of those is your parole and the conditions of it. How about you grow the f up and take responsibilty for your actions rather than blaming the parole officer for trying to help you. LOL at being mad at the state for telling you you can't get drunk after getting a DUI.
