  1. couple days ago I felt some pain where the wisdom teeth come in so I had a feeling these fuckers were going to have to come out, so I went to the dentist for cleaning etc. and he confirmed 1 impacted wisdom tooth, fml on the bright side the oral surgeon had a cancellation so he can get me in this Friday where normally it would have been 7-10 days of pain to wait to get in....boo wisdom teeth, hooray vicodin
  2. when I got mine out I had to get all four out at the same time. To make things worse, I got dry sockets after the surgery so I was bleeding for at least a week afterwards. Easily one of the worst experiences of my life. That and strep throat.
  3. ya right now I only have 1 partially impacted one, but from everyone i talked to it kinda makes sense to have all of them taken out, so you don't have to go through the shitty experience twice. I'd hate to have 1 taken out then 6 months down the road have the others start to hurt

  4. I got 6 out. suck it.
  5. Just got mine out last Wednesday. All 4 at the same time. Was back at work the next day so compared to some people it went fairly well. Still a little sore but getting better everyday. Still sucks though, I got mine out before they hurt though so I don't know how much pain your in.

doubt this is possible. Pretty sure humans only have four wisdom teeth.

its not unbearable maybe like a 4/10 on a scale...did anything help particularly well? like icing your cheeks or anything like that? or just eating about 4 vikes at at time?

After I had mine taken out I was on pain meds 2-3 days afterwards, but the pain wasn't unbearable. The shitty part (like I said in the earlier post) was having dry sockets, so I couldn't even enjoy eating anything solid. Hope you don't have any complications though.

  11. thank god my 4 grew in alright, no issues, but I also had teeth removed when getting braces so I think that is why they grew in alright

Ummm make sure you have plenty of soft foods to eat for a few days. I ate ice cream, potato soup, and a hotdish for the first few days. Definitely try and ice as much as possible. 20 minutes on hour off or something like that. Don't do anything to stressful or any like heavy lifting for a couple days because it makes them
hurt. Just lay low and pray you don't get dry sockets...I got the liquid pain medicine, because I fail at swallowing pills(embaressing, I know) but I think it worked better because I could barely open my mouth the first day. I pretty much took it every 4 hours the first two days then only at night the next couple. Make sure you drink lots of water and Gatorade etc. After the first day you can swish a little warm water in you mouth but don't spit it out let it drain out. Don't use straws for a while either.

  14. Different degrees of shittiness for different people.

I had mine out during the afternoon...was back at school and practiced (against Dr.'s will) the next day. Didn't do any contact drills (was bball practice), but had no problems other than that.
  15. I had mine taken out via surgery, nrs why people would do anything else, bamn knocked out, wake up and they're gone. Cheeks were huge for a few days, bout it. The other thing that's nice about getting them out via surgery prior to them poking out is that most ppl's medical insurance is much better than their dental so it's cheaper OOP

  16. Make sure you exclude yourself from poker sites for at least 48 hours...you don't know what you'll be doing. I ordered PPV and didn't realize it until later when I got the bill. Already had banned myself from poker so I couldn't screw up my bankroll,
  17. had it done. it sucks. F vicodin hooray valium.
  18. all of mine had to be cut out. i was out partying that night and never had to take a single pain pill.

depends on the person, but a now a decent number of people with similar experiences. just depends on if you are a pussy or not.
  19. still have all of mine and really dont plan on getting them out any time soon....the left one is pretty much completely in, so i juts have an extra molar, i guess, on my upper left

  20. I just had mine pulled out last Thursday, but I only had 2. They put me under and the aftermath wasn't bad at all. They prescribed me oxycodine (sp) and it worked fine. Eat soft shit like apple sauce, eggs, etc. for the first few day. The pills made me pretty drowsy, I slept for like a day. But after the first day I was fine, it wasn't bad at all like people made it out to be.

You can't seriously be from the United States.
I read it like 10 times and it made me laugh 9
  22. i had one out via surgery, had one vicodin when the immediate pain meds wore off and just had advil for like 2 days after i was good to go.
  23. i had all 4 pulled in one sitting and did it awake. you get to hear the teeth being ripped out from the roots and it's over in like 10 mins. the rest of the day u kinda just sit there drolling blood but r chilled on vic so u don't feel any pain
