With the basketball season starting in only 19 Days I think its about time we get a league up and running and find out who is interested. I have only done a few Bball leagues so I do not know what are the best options to keep it exciting. Post in here if your interested as well as what form you would want. Draft- Live or Auction Points- Roto, Points Based, Head to Head-Points Based, Head to Head Catergories Just looking for some mid stakes fantasy basketball fun.

From a couple days ago......If interested, stuff setup already, point was as above, to do something fun and interesting, competing against the same guys in a variety of formats and hopefully give everyone at least a little of what they want. Entry could certainly be dropped to $100 or $75, or could mix and match a little bit if more than 12 guys were interested. -

yea i saw that from the who league it just was too much $ just wanted to keep it simple being a fbb noob but I would have def done that for football and think we should do that next season. was gonna ask whether someone was gonna get a league going, but I'd rather only do a $50 buy-in since I don't have much fantasy bball experience.

Would you guys be interested in doing the 3 different formats, but instead of paying each league, just having a $50 entry and paying like the top 3 overall guys.
Roto winner gets 12pts, runner-up gets 11, etc...
H2H winner(s) gets 12 pts, runner-up gets 11 pts, etc...
Most combined points from all 3 leagues wins the overall championship.
Pay like $300, $200, $100.
Minimal outlay, more experience drafting/auctioning, more exposure to different formats and styles of play. -
Nottttt sabotaging this thread, but don't want to clutter the board either with fantasy bball talk. If anyone is interested in joining a $50 auction league on espn with $1 pickups and a few other twists, pm me your email and I will send you the particulars. League is 12 team H2H, and has some very knowledgeable members from my the main league who want to try an auction league for fun.
Just throwing it out there as an option, in case there are a bunch of people looking to play, and an OT league leaves some out in the cold. I need 3 or 4 reliable people who don't have douchebaggery disease. -

I am in two leagues. Both are 12 team H2H 9 category. 10 starters, 5 bench, 1 IL
2 spots-$75 buyin, $1 pickups, free trades- regular draft on yahoo(thursday at 9:30 eastern)
3 spots-$50 buyin, $1 pickups, free trades- ESPN Auction League(date and time TBD)
This league has a $50 last place penalty payable to 1st regular season, and $25 2nd to last place penalty payable to 2nd regular season. This will keep everyone active till the end.
Both leagues pay 40% 1st in regular season... 40% 1st in playoffs...10% 2nd in regular season...10% 2nd in playoffs.
PM me. Both leagues are extremely active, and cutthroat. -
