    thanks for the feedback, man. i saw ur post about barber/felix jones so i think i'm going to try and move him. i love my RB depth and i really stole sproles and mcfadden. i feel like one more solid WR will put me over the top.

    dont do it, u lose ur wrs, just make an upgrade at RB..i hate benson..he sucks and he always has..thomas is injured so follow that closely..just add another rb really

    Since my initial thread got merged into a different thread that ended up falling off the top pages, I'd thought I'd post this again, now updated with an 8 player trade I made and got accepted, only hours away from it being completed. Here is how I drafted for my $50 Yahoo League, non PPR, Standard Scoring, with solid draft regulars...

    QB - Peyton Manning, Trent Edwards
    WR - Colston, Anthony Gonzalez, Evans, Holt, Josh Morgan
    RB - Slaton, Gore, McFadden, Reggie Bush, Coffee
    TE - Cooley
    K - Gostowski
    DEF - Dallas

    Now for the trade I proposed and got accepted...

    McFadden, Gonzo, Evans, Cooley

    for

    Roddy, Witten, Leon Washington, Earl Bennett

    This guy desperately wanted a RB, and was willing to part with his 3rd Rd pick of Roddy to do so, and his 5th of Witten (I got Cooley Rd 12 BTW). Its basically my 5th, 6th, 7th and 12th Rd Selections, for his 3rd, 5th, 13th and 14th (Tried to make as fair a trade as possible without totally giving him a raw deal). Even then, I'll be dropping his 14th (Bennett) and pick up a RB, either Edge or Earnest Graham assuming nothing happens right away. I may be trading away depth here, but I now will have every position solidified outside of my flex spot, where I will start who I believe has the best matchup going into the week. I'll be good enough @ WR with 2 #1's on my bench (and likely start em @ the flex spot over 50% of the time unless I get gifted a RB who ends up playing a ton in the event of an injury to someone else in 1 of 'em split time backfields). RB depth is obviously weak post trade, but you don't win your league with guys you don't play.

     phillies, I dont know what these other guys are smoking.  I would snap call this trade.  You upgrade your #2 rb tremendously and colston could have a big year.  Beanie will be starting in no time and will be a better flex play than Bowe, and bradshaw is one injury away from having huge fantasy value, as is he will get 8-12 pts a game w a chance for 20.  I would try to talk him into taking Andre Johnson instead of Moss.  I think Moss is gonna have a huuuuuuuge year. Plus you have three texans.  Im guessing u picked 11th or 12?

     nice trade.  I wouldnt touch Mcfadden for the sole fact he plays for the raiders.  Im from arkansas and love him and he could actually blow up but its the raiders and they find a way to fuck every thing up.  I think your stealing from this guy.  do me a favor and dont pick up graham, please?  pick up james davis or if you must have an aged back, pick one that actually has a chance to start and get edge.  not to sure why u picked trent edwards either.  you could easily pick him or sumone comprable up.

    Yes, do this trade. Your RB's r weak IMO, and you need em, so do this trade.

    Beanie could end up being your flex guy eventually, and if not, well heaven forbid u can roll with Benson, or play Cotchery based on matchups. By the looks of who u picked, u picked a great team for a 12 team league, outside of starting RB's, and that was probably because they went like hotcakes in the 1st 2-3 rds, in which case you had to go with what you ended up getting.

    did you draft Andre Johnson or Moss first?  Im guessing Andre Johnson and then Moss fell all the way to you in the second round?

    Yes, 10 team league, from the #8 spot, yes a flex W/R where it would've been WR3. And yes, that would be my projected starting lineup as I have it, rotating between Bush and Washington along with some of my WR's based on matchups week by week for the Flex. James Davis got drafted btw, so he's off the board. Edwards, I took because of the 2 WR's he has to throw 2 and the new spread offense, even though its been a struggle so far. It was only a late rd 13 pick I used on him with all but 2 people outside of me already with 2 QB's. Then I got my DEF next round, whose matchups I love up till their bye week where I will get a different D to roll with.

    Edge is my 1st Choice, but lets say someone else gets him before me. Then who?

    McGahee is gone, Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris are gone, along with Hightower, Ricky Williams and others.

    I'd like to go get Jamal Charles if Edge is gone, then if need be, go get Graham if all else fails...

     bulk, you really drafted 7 wrs?  really?  I like the fred jackson and beanie wells picks but why draft nicks and smith or really why draft both.  I think going after Jerious Norwood, Leon Washington, Glenn Coffee, or James Davis would have MUCH MUCH better value.  Your never going to play Hester, Nicks or smith above TO, OchoCinco, Gonzalez or Avery.  Rbs w upside late in the draft, thats how you win leagues.

    I drafted 6th and think I had a pretty strong draft, especially at RB. My WR's are OK and I'm not really worried, and Cutler could go either way. Any particular weaknesses? I'll prob drop Vinatieri even though kickers are obv interchangeable, as well as play matchups with the DEF.

    Well i pretty much banked all of my FF leagues on Mcfadden being solid this year. He was going in like the 5th and 6th round in most of my leagues and i just think if he stays healthy there is so much upside there. MY strategy this year was to draft one elite running back in the first round then stock pile WRs and grab Dmac in the later rounds.

    Edit - also you say your from Arkansas, just wondering your thoughts on Felix Jones? I havent been this excited about a player since we drafted DWare. Like i said earlier he is just such a natural runner, seems like he sees the field so well and is just super super explosive in the open field. He ran a 4.4 at combine but he is super quick and once he makes his cut he just kicks it into another gear. Cant wait for football season only a week away!!!

    impossible to rate without number of teams and context of scoring system... only thing for certain is that the players are retards letting Forte slip to the 2nd, unless you made draft pick trades.....

    Sorry, this was from the league posted on the previous page I guess you missed. .5pt pr, qb td is 4pts, rest is standard. Clearly, this was an auction draft.
