Police arrested a Kitchener, Ont., father outside his daughter's school because the four-year-old drew a picture of him holding a gun. Jessie Sansone told the Record newspaper that he was in shock when he was arrested Wednesday and taken to a police station for questioning over the drawing. He was also strip-searched.

and this, might have had something to do with itGun leading to dad’s arrest was a toy
KITCHENER — A plastic toy gun is to blame for the mayhem that saw a man arrested at his daughter’s school this week.
It was found in the home of the Kitchener father of four after he was arrested over a drawing his daughter drew at the school on Wednesday. Jessie Sansone was strip-searched but not charged.

Crazy...
>>Eventually, police let Sansone go, saying all they found was a transparent plastic toy that shoots little plastic balls. The toy gun costs $16 at Canadian Tire.<<
HAHA.
I had a machine gun toy when I was a kid - now the ones you buy have large bits of orange on them so no one thinks the kids have real guns... Strange how they never thought I had a real gun.
The world is crazy (esp your side of the pond) -
So a picture drawn by a 4 year old is enough probable cause to get a search warrant.....
-
kitchener tho - their claim to fame is being the Oktoberfest capital of Canada
-
Wow this is pretty ridiculous. That said, most of you wouldn't understand, but guns are really serious business here. I don't blame authorities for suspecting he had a gun after a 4 yo draws that picture. Obv doesn't give them grounds to do what they did still.
It's fkd, the cops do whatever the fk they want. Sure, go ahead and sue them. But best believe they will go out of their way to make your life a living hell thereafter.
