FB Privacy Settings Question

    so I'm on the good ol' facebook now. I set my privacy settings to "Friends" and still anyone can see my page. Its public somehow. I chose my photo albums to be "friends only" but apparently its stuck on "public". WTF? Figured good ol OT could give me some pointers

    Putting your privacy settings on Friends only, means only your friends can see what you post, pictures, etc.

    Others can still search your name, find your page, but don't get access to what you've posted, until you accept their friend request (aside from your main profile pic).

    So what are you trying to hide? Do you want your name/profile unsearchable?

    If you were concerned with privacy, you wouldn't be on Facebook.

    Hey Paki, I want my page/photos etc to be seen by friends only. A person I work with could see everything on my page and I hadnt added her at the time. So I'm thinking any other person can see my page too right? No good!

    If you set it to "Friends" it should save. When you go back, does it automatically switch back to "Public"? If that's the case, try "Custom" and select "Friends only". If it still doesn't work, try it using a different internet browser (Google Chrome or FireFox)

    Under those options, there is a "How you Connect" section, which has additional privacy settings.

    Another potential is, when you uploaded your photos, you had them "shared with public". See if you can edit that on your photo album or photo by photo.

    Also, if you want to hide you friends list, move your cursor over your friends list where it says" Friends (###)" and a pen will show up. Under the "Friends" option, click the lil lock with the down arrow, and select "Only me". This will prevent the OT snitches from contacting Tam Tam.
