FB Trade in question

    Is this a fair trade in my baseball leauge? The trade was 3 players for 2, I'll put the stats up but not the names. I don't want to put the names up because I think it changes the opinion on how fair it is.

    team 1 got
    hitter 1 .302/ 17 hr / 76 rbi hitter 2 .304/020/87 SP era 4.6 K 129 WHIP 1.29 W 9

    team 2 got
    hitter 310/28/77
    RP era 2.78 K 57 whip 1.28 Sv 48

    very incomplete information...

    Markakis has 89 R and 10 SB.
    A-Rod has 79 R and 16 SB.
    Verlander has been throwing very well as of late and doesn't miss starts.
    obv everybody knows who K-Rod is.

    Personally, depending on team needs, I think it's an okay trade. If the guy is stacked at 3B and needs an OF, Markakis is a stud. Like I said, Verlander has been throwing very well as of late.

    Just glancing at it, it looks like the A-Rod/K-Rod portion of the deal is much stronger, but it honestly depends on team needs.

    whats the point if its fair or not? you want to veto it?
    comparing player for player in a trade does not help, if player A has excess HR and player B needs HR but has excess steals available this could look like a lopsided trade on the surface but both teams are better off.

    fwiw i veto all trades by others in my leagues all the time, basically out of spite. i dont even look to see if its fair or not, lol
