Both games im leading with Madrid late and you manage to nip the goals back... the second game i'm up 2-0 in what, the 85th? Then aerial superpower cesc fabregras goes towering over my center back to head home a goal from a corner, and then you get another corner in the 90th and it floats through casillas hands and runs completely untouched to the corner of the box so that villa can slam it home. bahhhhhhhhhh

I dominated ronaldo with abidal that first game, ripped him every time but somehow he magically ends up with the ball behind my D every time deflecting off defenders right back to him, so wack.

I F'd up with alves and let benzema thru on goal wayy to ez in the last one. I'd pretty pretty pissed/annoyed about those two goals off the corner at the end too, most corner goals are lame but ill take the result!

Perhaps I need to be more content to pass the ball about a bit to kill time in the dying minutes. If I was playing some random online I'd just play keep away for the last 10 minutes if I felt under threat, but feel ghey doing that against OT people :(

Still having fun though, every person I've played so far has been really competitive... I've left every game thinking that I should have, or could have won.

Same. I had got a bit bored of FIFA but i am starting to love it again. Dont think any game makes me want to smash up my xbox more though lol

PRetty much this exactly. I hadn't touched fifa in 2-3 months before the league, but am really enjoying getting back into it. There are some horrendously frustrating moments though... guess you just have to roll with them!

Weeee just secured promotion in the online seasons thing on my last game. Hit a rough patch with 3 draws in a row (hard to believe, right?) and needed 4 points from my final 2 games to move up. I conceded in like the 75th to go down 3-1, and figured I was done for.... But I managed to score in the 86th and again to equalize in stoppage time to get the 4th straight draw (lolz). Beat a guy 9-3 in the final game to move up!

lol, in fairness he was pretty bad, and he stopped playing in like the 85th, and I bagged 3 extra goals to pad the scoreline.

Defending has become the biggest challenge though, I actually adjusted my preferred formation recently to 4-1-2-1-2. The CDM sitting in front of the back 4 is very helpful, as it provides a lot of cover for the defense. It also bunches up the middle of the field, which is where the majority of the attacks against me came from. The 4-3-3 is great for attacking, but if they run a formation like 41212, then they have a much larger presence in the center.

I usually sit in 'defensive' position too, with 'counter attack' on. I found that I concede way to often if I try and remotely go into an attacking formation/mindset tactic. What tactics do you guys usually use? Edited By: Nickc011 Feb 23rd, 2012 at 06:11 PM

Just finished games with gray31 (beareatbeet)...he played really well...i got outplayed all three games, but managed to get a two (maybe three) lucky goals in the second game...im still really tilted about freezing up last possession of first game and not finishing that last play...the turn around shot just has no power...o well...last game im not sure how no one scored....i forget score of 1st game (was it 1-0 or 2-1?i think 1-0) so ill let gray post the results...
