mirror mirror on the wall....whose the biggest baller of them all?
-
so if he dies, the painting's value will increase by $999,880?
-
it cost a little more than that....wish it was $120.

can i ask why there are runaway sheets blowing out of the building? seems like a real safety hazard.
-
i will off vladimir kush and plead insanity to be back on the streets in about 5 years for a little under $300K...
-
you should sell it to Sheets.

"The home is something constant and stable, being preserved in the consciousness of the artist through all of his travels. Conversely, the wind embodied in the form of a waving shirt is associated with anxiety, with powerful chaotic forces, and the removal from one's home."
Whatever--- -
just tell people its where paul bunyan got his shirts.
-
obv brag post but if someone gave me that painting I would just give it away. To each his own I guess...
-
28k for a print or the actual painting???
-
I own these of his too....definitely one of my favorite artists. Jroth, make it grizzly and twisted somehow, and you have a deal. He has a pretty cool style: www.vladimirkush.com

-
i saw his stuff at a gallery in Hawaii, really amazing art imo.
-
ya, i want to see that gallery. that's awesome that you went. he lives and paints there...he also has a gallery in The Alladin in Vegas. Pictures don't do it justice IMO...the colors are living in person.
-
i didn't pay gallery pricing obviously, so didn't spend $28k
and to answer your question, it's a canvas giclee (final artist proof). -
wasn't intended to be a brag...i was just excited to finally get it up because it took awhile and had to remount it a couple times, etc... It took all day and I think it looks sick as shit, that's all.
-
So how much do you spend or have invested about in art??? Cause if those are all real you have to be pretty baller to buy those no???
-
I just view art as an investment that has the added bonus of being able to enjoy it (vs. financial instruments), so I put a % of my portfolio into art. I have a collection of about 50 pieces or so now, and I rotate a couple a year....but I hadn't moved any in awhile...hence the excitement and the post.
-
i mean that's an awesome painting honestly, i like it a lot...i dont see spending almost 30k on it but as someone said..to each his own.
btw phx, i still fucking hate you and want you to rot.
