    Thinking about getting Fios Cable and Internet package.

    I currently have Optimum for TV and Verizon for Internet.

    It would save me about 20 bucks a month, plus I would be able to get Vs (to watch hockey) and Fox Soccer Channel both of which are kind of important to me and I dont currently have.

    I would lose YES (Yankees) but have MLB.tv on my PS3 so that shouldnt be too much of a problem when PSN gets back up.

    Anyone with any experience with FIOS want to give me any insight?

    I've had the Fios Double Play package for about a year now, and never had any problems. Also I get YES, don't ever watch it though.

    why do you lose YES? i have fios and live in northern nj and have that channel. maybe i have some special pacakge, but afaik the only premium channels im paying for are shotime and hbo. either way, ive had fios since september and dont have a single bad thing to say about it. my internet has never cut out etc etc

    I love FIOS. In So Cal I get YES, but Yankees games are blacked out.

    there customer service is a nightmare every1 gives a different story u sign up for 1 price get the bill its different then they tell u they cant give 2 discounts only 1

    I have had nothing but [roblems with fios in the past 4 months, b4 that smooth sailing.

    They have consistently added bullshit to my bill and billed me for anextra box I have never had, They have corrected the problem on the next bill with a credit each time, so technically they havent cost me any money...

    and that is what customer supports answer was tome when I just wanted to cancel it with no fee, that since they have corrected each time they cannot waive my cancelation fee...

    but I am sick of calling everymonth to get 34.99 worth of bullshit off my bill, spending an hour and a half on the phone each time.

    FWIW tho- I jsut paid this months billl, no bullshit "play fios online games" 5.99 or extra box and my bill was correct this month. the product itself is good too.

    I live in South Jersey and have FIOS and still have YES. You should be fine with that.

    I also have Optimum up at school. Holy shit that carrier is absolute trash. I always have had so many problems with Optimum TV.
